Joe - two things I've been telling people over the past few months -
1. Cut the bottom first, then the top - the old school bars might be heavier than you think...
2. Don't shut the saw of until you're positive you don't need it anymore - if it's already running, why chance it not starting back up (because my saw just happened to made by a guy named Murphy...)
Using a forcible entry saw.. slowly power the blade to make a purchase then power it up. Don't gun the saw before making contact. Especially when cutting Locks.
