golf iv has 3 versions.. i didnt even know there was a v5 :S.. since there is, this and the 1.8T and the VR6 makes 3

the VR6 in Golf IV was'nt a GTI...not in Germany.

There was a 1.8T with 150PS, a V5 10V with 150 PS and (in Germany) a TDI with 150PS.

All these three engines were available as GTI.

The V(r)6 was in Germany an seperate Interior and there's no connection to the GTIs.

The 1.8T has 20V the V5 150 hp has 10V

V5 170hp has 20V....

damit die Diskussion mal ein Ende hat, ob 10V oder 20V:

VW hat den V5 im Golf von Bj. 1997 bis 2000 als 10V mit 150 PS gebaut (MKB: AGZ)

Im Modelljahr 2000 wurde der V5 überarbeitet und mit 4 Ventilen pro Zylinder, also als 20V verbaut. Dieser leistete dann 170 PS. (MKB: AQN)

Hoffe, damit ist dieser Diskussion genüge getan.

Nur weil da V5 steht ist es trotzdem ein VR, oder wie stellst du dir einen V5 vor? 4 normal Runde Kolben und am ende 2 halbe Kolben? xD
