I saw Lou Christie at a WVOK Shower of Stars. He was and still is the greatest. He really impressed the part of Birmingham, Alabama called "Little Italy", I should know I was a part of little italy. Love ya Lou. You are the greatest.

Oh, many years ago before they had big Doo Wop shows, there was a tv special that had Lou and Leslie Gore singing their duet. There was so much sex appeal in that song as they moved towards each other. I was so glad that we had a tape in the old player. We have seen Lou several times in person, but it was in a huge venue in Indiana. My husband was in the Army for 24 years so we tried to catch any Doo Wop show that was playing. Our now 33 year old daughter fell madly in love with Lou at a concert

Hey, I am his age and I still think that he has all the sex appeal that he had when we were young. And he is in his mid-sixtes. Now, I love my husband of 42 years, but I would love to have Lou Christie sing just one song to me. Like Rhapsody in the Rain. I was young when Lou started out so I didn't know who he was, but when I found out, it was a done deal! Sex appeal? He's got more than any one man should have! It's those Italian genes! tchr6798, The thing I love most about Lou is he carries that friendly out going spirit from his youth, he grew up in Glenwillard Pa, even now people out that way are so friendly, and out going, I grew up 10 min. away from there, I've seen the house on Spring Run Road that he grew up in, he came from very humble beginnings, he never forgets who he is and where he came from, I just love that!
