the holw mother bear will eat your soul out if youre by the cubs its sort of a myth, they will run away from you first and if you show care to the cubs they wont attack.

very good portrayal of the misunderstood black bear. though they do seem a bit tame in my own experience black bears usually leave before you get that close. I just dont see where people get the idea that this is the kind of animal that attacks for no reason at all.

Actually... Black Bears are pretty dosile, they don't really attack without provokation. They're more of a stealth Bear since black is a background colour.

But yeah, these seem pretty habituated.
