Can I ask croydon greens what they think about a private corporation called Bank of England being run for profit and having the right to issue a nations currency by printing money out of thin air and then charging interest that's mathematicaly impossible to pay off is?
We agree with the premis of your comment. The B of E is state owned but controlled by individuals who run it like a private corporation. We also need to go back to using money as primarily a means of exchange.
We need to return banks to a mutual/cooperative style of operation. Its unsurprising that the Cooperative and Nationwide (still run on this basis) are relatively unaffected by the financial crisis. Nationalisation is the first step to this end.
They hyped this on the news to be full of dangerous people. Watch charlie brookers coverage of it

you don't need to nationalise banks, you need to take the Bank of England out of the hands of private individuals and get rid of usuary.
nationalising the banks is attempting to cure the symtpons not the disease.

Isn't the nationalization of banks "big brotherism"?
