what's wrong with the camera this was filmed on? i don't mean the visual coruption, i mean the objects in the forground (camera parts) jumping in place as the background moves as the camera moves.. is there a cheap 3d effect feature that is on and maybe should't be

OK so what's the reason for blurring the RED logo when you don't seem to have any problem showing Boxx, SmallHD, or any of a number of other logos, and even giving them a name check?

@CharlieTeague Just remember, they've probably got a TINY budget again. Yeah, the studio audiences are bringing the money in, but that's *after* all the planning/budgeting stage has already finished. I for one - being a big fan of early Doctor Who too - love the ambition in a well-written story (or sitcom in this case), and a dodgy looking set certainly isn't going to hinder that for me! lol :)

Ed is a lovely chap and the cameras are pretty awesome. The pictures coming out of this bunch of gubbins are truly extraordinary, it has a very film like feel, very deep, incredible, nay, terrifying detail. And as someone rightly suggested in the comments, don't matter how good the picture is if the shows not funny. Well, after recording 4 episodes I think we can safely now predict, they are funny.

I'll admit, i thought i'd see something about Red Dwarf in this video but it was still very interesting! I never knew how much stuff was on ONE TV camera! Must be so much effort making TV shows! It would take me a week to figure out how to wire that camera up!

Sticks = tripod. Therefore that rig has a dual function as a stationary camera as well as being a steadicam.

@niknarnevets its very likely a stabilization effect, made to make the shot seem less shaky but adds a jiggly-motion if the shakyness in the original footage is as extreme as it looks to be here.

its a green screen background thats why the video is all funny, the actual rig is quite similar to any other steadicam units. If you want to see really cool steadicam stuff see the guys who work on stricly come dancing or other live shows who are shooting with a 3d rig around live performers who only have one take to get it right, otherwise good video

Have they tried to stabilise this video in post (ironically not using a steadicam to explain what a steadicam is)? Very odd effect occurring whenever the shooting camera pans. I know, I've replicated this myself plenty of times ;)
