The entire thing is so screwed up it's almost impossible to sum this up in a single conversation. We need taxes in order to fund the government. Without them, there would be no government. The problem is, we have way too many taxes. We don't need a payroll tax, an income tax, or a property tax. Why are we paying for something we already own? Why should I have to invest in social security when I want to invest it somewhere else? Why can't my family have my stolen SS assets when I die?
Even if he runs as a third party candidate I would love to see him steal a lot of Democratic votes since clearly Obama "Hope N' Change" from '08 wasn't what it was all cracked up to be. Let's be realistic, Ron Paul has no chance to get elected...Obama loves that he may win the nomination. His foreign policy is not only wrong, it's VERY dangerous. It is irresponsible to think that is we pull our forces out of every country that the folks that don't like us will suddenly wake up and say that they love us...WRONG! I am totally in favor of tax overhauls...but income tax to 0 is not gonna happen even if he wins. How would the government function without it?

Even if Ron Paul became president he would be a lame duck president because congress would go against everything he does. And you keep saying that the government should take no taxes, how would we fund our military to protect us? How would we fund infrastructure like roads? Ron Paul will not stop taxes, he will make them less though.

After 1913, strong working individuals paychecks were garnished wages for the federal reserve because Woodrow Wilson abolished the gold standard and made a new plan of borrowing money from federal reserve banks which were privately owned to begin with.
