Where is this young man now? He plays one of the best versions out there. Too many sax players want to mimick the late great Bud Shanks. In high school my friend played this in 1986 and did a good job. I will be playing this in my band soon and I only hope to play it half as good as my friend and this young man in the video. Seriously I hope this kid is still playing...in college?

amazing sax player! my schools jazz band played this my freshman year ('09-'10) and the band (including our sax players) sounded really good..but this sax player amazes me. he's one of the best i've ever heard!

Yeah i have plyed this song. and i may be a trumpet player but this is supposed to be done with brushes. the sticks are totally ruining the feel of the ballad. but very good solo dude.

In this case it's you who are the dumbshit! The drummer is playing what he should do. Listen to the Nestico record of this tune and you will hear that the drummer there plays it like a pop ballad with sticks just like this drummer does.
