I Am Very Proud Too Say That I Am One Of Those People Who Came Out And Voted For MR.Obama In The State Of Pennsylvania. And Power To The People Who Wanted Change (Smiles!)
Ohio and Pennsylvania did not demonstrate her strength among white voters in general, but it did show that both states are rich in the demographics that make up Clinton's shrinking base. She found a way to exploit the anxieties and ignorance of older white people and blue collar whites in places that have been economically depressed and deeply segregated for decades.
If you listen to the meaning of his words, you'll understand that it's not just him who needs to walk the walk... it's all of us. What does that mean? It means letting your voice be heard at all levels of government, it means volunteering, voting, and getting your friends/family to openly discuss important issues like health care, jobs, taxes, etc... being honest with each other. So, the question is not can he walk the walk... the question is can he lead the American people in walking the walk.
This was a great performance by Obama. He narrowed Hillary's 30 pt lead to barely 10 pts and closed in on the number of white voters. Obama also attracted over 35,000 to his speech in Philly. This crowd will be valuable when he runs against McCain in the general election and Obama will like John Kerry, win the Pennsylvania primary over McCain
This will only be a great speech if Obama gets elected and the changes he speaks of come to pass. He has talked the talk, but will he walk the walk once elected.
in a democracy, for the voters the job doesn't end in voting..getting involved in the process is important. Words of promise are only possible when the show of strength is constant against the forces of status quo..Senator Obama's strength comes from the people's strength...without the mass will a single person can't change anything..
Obama said "workers in Logansport,IN ..found out their company has decided to move its entire factory to Taiwan." He erred on this. The County's ChamberOfCommerce & nwspaper Pharos-Tribune said Modine Mfg is closing plants, not relocating outside the country. Besides, Modine has plants in THAILAND, not TWN. It's a shame Obama mis-spoke about TWN (mistaking Thailand for TWN) & relocation (as there's none). It shows his knwldg of foreign affairs. If you want to talk specifics, get the facts right!
When will the media report on the actual numbers and show that Clinton's race for pledged delegates is over??
i don't know about you guy but whne Obama said that we are "bitter" i know he's talking the true because i am bitter am sick an fed up of were Persindent Bush is taking this country.
Obama is not lying, he just tell the true he might have not said it the way we wanted to here it but it's track.
i support him 100% he's the person for the job. he will unite this country!!!!
If Barack's young supporters, which he has tons of, go out and vote or cast absentee ballots or whatever, but make sure their vote is heard in the general election it is hard to believe that McCain can beat him.
You can't overlook the fact that independents weren't allowed to vote in the PA Democratic primary. I think a lot of independent Obama supporters and "Obamacans" might have changed the PA results somewhat and could definitely sway a few states in November should Barack be nominated.
how can Hillary say that she is so electable, when she is not even nominatable? she's done. she embarrass americans. her voice and that ugly smurk on her face all the time shows the type of person she really is. this man is a once in a life time opportunity. and that is why we love and respect him so. they have to come with more that a bitter statement and experience and the rev. what they are really saying is we dont have nothing on him. Go to hell Hannity and O'rielly.
hey George W. "U can't touch this" du nu na nu na nu na nu "U can't touch this". We So Believe in you Obama. They can't touch you if they had something on you believe me more than the rev. would come out. you are clean and you are not just qualified but you are over qualified. We Need you and we love you.
Barak Obama is a great vehicle for change. Just look at a typical audience during his rally compared to the other candidates. Who can really unite this great nation?....Obama 08
Kennedy, Kerry, Dean and Palosi, can you explain why your beloved kid Obama is so scared of debate in NC? What an excuse for not debate, "schedule conflict!" what schedule more important than showing that you are right one? American people deserve a president who stands strongly in debate what he claims and believes, rather than who scares so deeply debate. Obama escaped from debate in Winscosin, now he plans to escape in NC. What is he hiding and afraid? Obamanians, can you ask him?
How can Senator Clinton argue that the "little differences" in the Pennsylvania primaries matter and then say the "little differences" in the TOTAL popular vote and TOTAL three groups of delegates don't?
i was there. if the camera went up a couple more rows there i would be. sweet.
anyways i also saw hillary speak. i like obama but her speach was more personal. i know his was to the nation, but i still think he could have stayed a little longer (because he was VERY late) and done a Q&A or a more personal speech. just my opinion.
You gotta say, Obama's got class. Clinton's campaign in PA was vicious, mean-spirited and negative all the way through and yet he's gentlemanly enough to congratulate her and say she ran a terrific race. I honestly doubt Clinton would have done the same had Obama won.
This is a true chance for what we can gain by nominating this great person for not only America but also The Whole World's President. He has became the voice from all over the world. It is time for everyone and specially those who claim who don't know Obama, should research. We can all do it together and be a part of what we call Democracy! Do not let the past to control your future. Change has already begun. Look around ppl!
I'm from the UK so i can't vote. but everyone I talk to supports Barack. We HATE Clinton...
picture this your the president of France and you have to spend an hour talking on issues with Hilary. She's so annoying! Have you ever been in a conversation with someone who really only cares about themselves, for some reason I get that feeling from Hilary.
If she wins I believe the goodwill state of the US will be irrecoverably broken. All that's sustaining it right now is films and Hollywood...
I love Obama. I think the only reason why he lost in Pa is b/c a lot of people still don't really know who he is. They haven't done much true research. I believe that when they do, they'll be happy that he won the nomination and will vote for him for prez.
When will the media report on the actual numbers and show that Clinton's race for pledged delegates is over??
It is unbelievable that her campaign (spouse/surrogates) are still misleading people by claiming she has a real chance!
Only if superdelegates overrule the voters and pledged delegates she can become the nominee. With her likability and trust polls? Give me a break, somebody please save the Democratic party from ruining it, again. Please people stop the bickering.
Senator Obama. Enough being a nice guy. The gloves have to come off sometime and Senator please remind both McBush and Clinton that people who live in a house of glass should not be throwing stones.
One last thing even an 8 year old won't buy the story that McBush can't stop the Rev. Wright ad.
The way Obama is being attacked by his fellow Democrat, even more than by McCain (!)is hurtful and frustrating, if not shameful.
I gained the highest respect for Senator Obama for remaining calm and classy, and not giving them what they want: they want him to break his promise to deliver change. He is not giving them the chance to tear him down.
I agree but something has to be done. McCain and Clinton are not calm or classy. People sometimes mistake calm and classy for weakness out of ignorance. Something has to be done about the Rev. Wright ad.
What's with the Abercrombie and Fitch guys behind Sen. Obama?
They're not even paying attention to the speech. Is it some sort of viral marketing move? It makes the speech unwatchable. I needed to put it in the background to listen to his words because I found those three so hard to watch.
They can barely even pretend to care about the speech.
Could Sen. Obama spend like 3 seconds during one of his speeches making fun of A&F just to offset how ANNOYING they made this speech?
There is something abt America we of the outside just dont get. With all the Havard,Yale ,MIT,Princeton and many other of the top learning institutions in America,America still(in my opinion & all of the ppl in the UK i have spoken to)seem to have the largest percentage of ignorant ppl compared to any other nation in the west.I mean in the UK Hillary wld have been forced out long ago.U dont say one thing and be proven otherwise by ur record and survive,Former PM Tone Blair will testify to that.
I am going through a depression that only God can cure. Senator Obama, I am ashamed at the way that my state (Pa) treated you. I looked to you as a Moses-type to lead us out of this oppression that we are in under this prejudiced spirit that our state has. The newspapers call us "The New Mississippi/Alabama." I almost lost my post at a local Legion for going to your campaign. Hillary knew how to play this state and did. I still see victory for you. Stay tuned for new blessings!
This man is running a campaign without all off the smearing of his opponents. No matter what Clinton has said, he has given her appreciation when she deserved it. He is one of the most selfless men I've ever seen. If he is not elected it is because Politicians are scared of a man that is actually humble and truthful. God Bless.
Good stuff, either Obama or Clinton would be beneficial for president for the next 8yrs...Just please don't vote in McCain..I'm a proud US Marine that has immense respect for John McCain and his service to our country; but his policies will only further destroy the image of America in the world...To many brave men and women have died for this current admistration's false agendas..WE NEED CHANGE..that can only come through the Democrats!!
If someone could magically manufacture a state that would be almost impossible for a Obama to win over Hillary it'll be Pennslyvania. It has the OLDEST population in the U.S - women make a large part of the demcratic base - she has/had kinship and family ties throughout the state. And frankly with alot of the popuation (vs other states) being over 50, they live in a world were rasism was an accepted part of life, therefor seeing a honorable black man with so much is a little bit scarey to them
I have had 17 people register to vote and will vote for Obama in November! If everyone can get 5 people they know who don't vote to get registered and vote in November I know we can show for the first time the democrats backing Obama can not only break the republican record of 49 states but take all 50. OBAMA 08!
Its nice to have an eloquent candidate. I'd like to see more about how hes going to pay for his programs. Is he going to cut the military funding like Clinton? I think his vison of a better america is to become more like Canada.
When he got to, "The same way my father saw it from across the ocean", time seemed to stop.
And by the time he got to "we will keep the promise of America" I almost started to cry. The idea of potentially the first black President talking about keeping the promise of America was just powerful... Very powerful.
I put my Obama bumper sticker on my fuel efficient car today. For those of you who have the big cars and trucks, slap that Obama sticker on it. You worked hard to get where you are! You should at least be able to afford the gas to drive it! You have made a difference in your life! Make a difference in our country!Vote for Obama!Freedom of choice!
Ever get a "Comment pending approval!"? If you make an one opposing remark Obama staffers then identify you account name and censor your comments when they don't like what you post. They'll block your comments from all "their" videos. It's undemocratic! Try it if you don't believe me.
Wow. Thank you for congratulating Hillary. That just proves that you speak for unity, that you can win and lose gracefully. I hope that Hillary will be able to do that in the end. Win or lose, Obama will find ways to change this world for the better, and that alone brings me hope. Let us all do that.
Obama We are counting on you. because we need you and only you. I have pledged my support for you in every way i can and i will continue to do so. I know that you are going to win. you are my president. and my son and i and my entire family love you.
This man is honest and has hope he wants REAL change which is why BOTH the GOP and corporations who OWN Hillary hate him. Its been a hard road for Obama because he is fighting the Neocon GOP machine and Hillary camp thus he is getting hit from all sides and has to spend his time defending himself from lies from distorted half truths. The status quo aka Hillary are hard to run against .
All the success to Barak Obama, this is going to be a fight until the end!
Ms. Clinton will not give up, she will battle for Michigan and Florida.
All the strength to you Mr. Obama, never give up and stay positive. From one small island on the other side of the world we can see through the smoke, you are a great leader and inspiration may the American people vote you into the White House.....Change the world!
Obama's message is the same. I know he said it but if you listen to Iowa, Newhampshire and now in Indiana. It is amazing. ''When we were up or down''. He will be rewarded. This is why he has done so well.
With this speech Barack is a back on track. This is one of his best speeches to date. I hope he keeps this focus up. Barack's core message is his greatest selling point.
obama supporters? where are you at? guys don't sleep...we have a long way to go. Hilary is more tenacious than I thought...let's break records once again. donate as you have never donated before!!!!!
I watched this last night, I just love the way he shows he's above negativity by congratulating Hillary! Obama 4 President 4 Sure!!! You had my vote in Pa in Erie!
Obama an inspiration in the form of "hope" not only a better USA but world. If the citizens of this country miss this opportunity. When the citizens of my country elected George Bush initially over a great man like Al Gore, than shockenly again over an intelligent choice John Kerry, I said to myself, we deserve all the misery we beget. The same will happem five fold under the other status quo choices. For the sake of my children wake up America. Vote Obama, give us hope.
1,719 meaning only 306 left for obama to get. im rooting him on no matter what. and i wish i was in every state voting for him. the american people must know that this man brings change and brings a gleam from sea to shining sea and we will taste that land of milk and honey when we vote this man in office . he is the hope and if we vote for him we aid in the hope as well.
thats right OBAMA...you will not make it in PA

Hillary, the delegate race is over. It's simply impossible for you to win. He will be the nominee.
The choice for you now is either to do your best to make McCain win by trashing Obama so you can run again in 2012, or to help Obama win the election.
Your choice depends on what you consider more important: Your own ambition and thirst for power, or the wellbeing of the American people.

GREAT speech. Obama's amazing and will make a GREAT president. He understands the issues and is the best chance we have to fix the problems we face.

This man is running a campaign without all off the smearing of his opponents. No matter what Clinton has said, he has given her appreciation when she deserved it. He is one of the most selfless men I've ever seen. If he is not elected it is because Politicians are scared of a man that is actually humble and truthful. God Bless.

Well, It looks like Hillary can not be president...
She can not count! Her numbers are wrong. Popular and delegates count is off!
We need leaders that can at least know how to do math correctly ... she has not been able to do
that....So is clearly a loser!
Obama is the winner!

OBAMA 08!

OBAMA FOR PRESIDENT. He is so humble and respectable, he could do so much for the US, we need him to be elected. Get out and Vote!
Clinton is SO negative and just doesn't deserve to win. It is nearly impossible statistically to come back, she needs to quit hurting her party.
Oh, also, I have Obama remixed into an R.Kelly song, "The World's Greatest" on my homepage, Its a nice tribute video.

When he got to, "The same way my father saw it from across the ocean", time seemed to stop.
And by the time he got to "we will keep the promise of America" I almost started to cry. The idea of potentially the first black President talking about keeping the promise of America was just powerful... Very powerful.

Sir, you are carrying our hopes and dreams into a politics of the people, something that got lost somewhere along the way.
We are moving from yes we can, to yes we are. We are ready to earn our respect, our rights, and our overall prosperity as generations before us have.
Set the mission Mr. President, we believe in you, we believe in us. We're growing stronger, and we're ready.
What can we do for our country.
