So guys out there, do you wish to have a gay friend? I don't mind having one but i am just sick of them doing all the sick things. They only reveal their true colours in front of weak guys. Do i have evidence? YES! I have met all the sick ones in the toilet before especially in swimming pools and public toilets. There was this guy who kept smiling at me while pretending to be peeing. Firstly, why would the birthrate plummet if gays are not outlawed? It's not as if gay poeple would miracioulously turn straight just becasue the law says so. So they would not procreate even if the law stays intact. So what's the point?
Secondly, a person can't choose to be gay. Do you think seeing how much discrimination gays have to go through, someone would still want to choose to be gay? NO! It is not something they can decide upon. It's them!

i'm a 2nd yr student doing my degree in biomedical science, it has been proven that homosexuality is genetic, the parents are not as they carry the recesive chromosome, meaning they are just carriers. Those that carry the dominant gene are usually the affected. get ur facts right before debating. you can always look up in the library for books on human genetics. Regards.

What more rights do you want? So far, in Singapore, I have never heard of two men caught on bed in any hotels etc. Why make so much noise? So many transvestite walking here and there... what else? You are allowed to do or love whatever or whoever, there's nothing wrong. Why attract the attention? Your freedom has already been there, it's a hush hush (discreet) approval.

transvestism is different from being homsexual. a straight person can be a transvestite, and there are such people. Most gay people are NOT transvestites.
The fact is, the police CAN imprison two men for being in bed with each other, and they don't even need a warrent of any sort. Also, if there IS a "hush hush" approval in some way, there isn't a reason to not have open acceptance (different from approval btw), which would benefit the thousands of young gay people in Singapore.

There is no such thing as hush-hush approval - only blatant hatred. Silent approval is not approval. Goodness is loud... like hatred. You really don't understand the issue. In my home country (South Africa), gay rights is enshrined in the constitution. Society has not fallen apart...gay hate-crimes, however, have decreased.

The thing I find weird is this, th government allows it to happen but does not enforce it on people. I agree that someone should not perform gay sexual acts in public, but then again all sexual acts are banned aren't it? Whatever said and done, Singaporeans are so lucky that our government and culture may be of certain nature but they do not enforce it on us.

I'm not gay and not even from Singapore, but if it's not natural as "pk1A" said then why has it been happening since the begining of time, whether that was the big bang or the magical creation by god?

Intolerance is not to be equated with injustice. Firstly, you preach tolerance as a golden rule, but would you tolerate people who are intolerant? Also, by your logic, shall we tolerate child rapists? To be clear, I am not equating homosexuals with child rapists, but your philosophy has implications you may be unaware of.
