  • Anyone got a better quailty rip of this ?

  • What TV program was this performed on?

  • Is there any mp3 or CD with this version available? I find this much better than the Jellybean remix, but I can't find any other version than Jellybean's...

  • It's available on the 'Factory Records - Communications 1978-1992' compilation.

  • Thak you, but that version is the one I already have. I wanted the live one if it was available.

  • Oh s**t, I did'nt know Beverly died! I apoligize on the music video post bout calling her a terrible singer, but real talk, her voice was inferior to Diane.

    RIP

  • she is so bad but so good .lol

  • Fabulous. First heard this on "Palatine" and didn;t know this even existed,Thanks for posting!

  • This song is tough!!!

  • fukin ace.

    yhis is a hit

  • I luv 52nd Street but not this track too tough. Sorry fans, but Diane was a much better singer than her. Whoever the first lead singer's name is wuz horrible and no wonder why she got replaced. NYC gave this song a big shot in early 1983!!

  • LOL!

  • This is going to sound like absolute heresy. But...

Diane is without question a fantastic singer. However, if 52nd Street had continued in the "bleak-funk" vein, I wonder how well she would have fit in??

I almost think Beverly's voice is better suited to that particular genre. The jury's still out on this clip though.

  • Sure did, and I never thought I'd ever hear it again--and 27 years later I FINALLY know whose song it is! Peace.
