  • That was good. Very good. I especially liked the bit of levity at the start, as if to say, we can all do this...indeed...

  • this is really from bach ? :-)

hard to believe it this is played like that !

    but that was nice though

  • I like it much better slow also, not just because I can't play it fast, but because it sound better to me.

  • good attempt to this invention... however, you need to keep a steady tempo and articulate better your phrases.

  • I usually like it a LITTLE faster, but this was truly good. Finally someone that plays with/creates feeling, and sits by the piano for that very reason.

Thank you for playing so well (:

  • you are a lovely boy! Loved your play much!

  • Shame that your tempo isn't regular, you terminate much faster as you start.

  • lol.

nice:] i think you're speeding around the end.

  • Nicely played. Thought you did a great job of balancing between the hands. Really brought out the cotrapuntal effects of the piece.

  • pretty

  • I like to hear it played this way. I hate it when they go robotically fast with no feeling. This is gorgeous, you can hear the piece. Just love it!

  • i agree. every piano piece on yt is always fast and monotonous. i like DYNAMICS.

  • i like when glen gould plays it

  • baucoup trop romantique a mon gout!!!!! c'est du Bach

  • Very nice... I did one too... check it out... you can see the tattoos on my hands... bach invention Colin...

  • nice,,,

  • staccato and faster oter thaan that great

  • nice tempo, but too heavy pedalling

  • This is played very nicely. I'm attempting to learn it for my mid-term right now so it was nice to hear it sounding clean (as opposed to where I am right now).

  • I like it slow :]

  • OMG thats really good!:D

he just gotta remeber proper posture while playing lmao. :)

  • Saying to not use the pedal ever on a Bach piece is like saying don't ever play a Bach piece on the piano. It's saying we should only play Bach music on the harpsichord since he didn't compose for the piano. Beautiful playing and keep up the pedal!

  • kinda slow, IMHO

  • I like this slow version ! =)

    5 stars

  • Red Light In My Eyes Part One

    look it up same intro

    COBHC

  • cool hair style,..yea, bach music in quaver beats, have to play non legato, but not staccato..good tempo..

  • I think you should play sonata instead.

  • its good but dont use the pedal ever.

bachs peices were composed with no pedal

  • Yeah, even playing legato is techincally wrong due to the fact that in Bach's time playing legato on the instruments was impossible.

  • It's true that the pieces were composed with no pedal, but that's pretty irrelevant since they weren't composed for piano, either. All the great Bach pianists make frequent use of the pedal, when appropriate. If you're really that concerned about it, play on a harpsichord and nothing else!

  • Bach's pieces were not even composed for the piano. Saying not to use the pedal is like saying don't play Bach's pieces on the piano. Beautiful job. Keeping using that pedal!

  • hey dude i also played this song its so fun to play right??? well i just love it !!!

    =) @) cya

  • woww.

    nice :D

i hope i can get that good b4 my exam in late july

  • That was really nice. Well done.

I used to play this one years ago but now I can't :(

  • staccato not legato, but your tempo is nice. When I paly it i try to put emotion into it with the way I play it since there is no pedal involved.

  • not really legato its more detached

  • It's early Baroque...no need for pedal, just play legato, and yes, I noticed the dramatic increase in tempo during the middle toward the end as well. Otherwise, good mastering of the notes, didn't hear any wrong ones.

  • In my own opinion: While at the same time I feel that Bach (and most other Baroque work), as a rule, sounds terrible on the piano--even by professionals--it _is_, when on piano played, often best performed with some classical interpretation in order to accomodate the instrument.

  • bach was not early baroque. jeez. =.="

  • Lol, yea. He was the last of the baroque.

  • Great done!

    xx Marie

  • Very nice job.
