Hey how did you get to play as two players because I have this for the ps1 and I can only play as one person unless I am doing cross over . And in crossover i can't even pick my second character it picks it for me. Can someone tell how you did that?

The PS1 version of the game only lets you choose 1 player, because the PS1 had a limited amount of RAM. If you want to play the true tag team version of the game, you'll have to either track down the Dreamcast version, or use an arcade emulator on you computer.(Which is what I did.)

This game or in general? Misc fact: PS2 version of MVC2 Warmachine can fly, Iron Man cannot. Rhodes is good in this version. MVC2 his supers aren't as strong.

there is a sequel: marvel vs capcom 2

as for a marvel vs capcom 3, not any time soon. mvc 2 is barely being ported to xb360 and ps3, and capcom hasn't commented on another mvc game. I doubt we'll see it within a year.

It was Spiderman and Ryu for me. I was VERY fortunate because back when I was an assistant manager at grocery store we had this game at our store. I played on every break and lunch hour I had. I would always lose to one of our sack boys all the time. He had this combo with Strider that a CANNOT BE BEATEN.

Iron Man was supposed to be in Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter originally, but Acclaim had the rights then. So Capcom had to take him out and replace him with Cyclops instead. When MvC came along, Capcom decided to use War Machine to get around Acclaim's bullshit by recoloring IM's sprite. By the time of MvC2, Acclaim's rights were up and Iron Man returned as a character along with War Machine. That's the official story.

Yep. Acclaim had the rights to Iron Man so that they could develop that crossover game with X-0 Manowar. However, I only knew about War Machine being IM's replacement in MvC. I didn't know that he was slated for MSHvsSF, though. Thanks for the info.
