I have a feeling you reached this video by searching for Metroid and don't actually realise what it is you are watching. This was a Saturday morning cartoon from 20 years ago, one that I grew up with. The people that gave a thumbs up are likely ones that arrived here having searched for it out of nostalgia. There was at no point in this show the other characters from metroid as it was not a show about that game in particular, but instead about the Nintendo universe.

Man, as corny as this show is i wish they still had them (video game shows) today. It just goes to show how culturaly dominate and popular gaming was back then. It must have been pretty awesome to play a game and then later watch all your favorite characters in a cartoon.
