Are you an Yves C also? Wow. I thought I knew all the Yves C in the US. If you're in New York, we should meet! Thanks for you wishes, but "With truth on your side, who needs luck?" In all fairness to Mr.Jimenez, the news report cut out a lot of the details of my story because, in the greater scheme of things, the allegations of sexual misconduct and attempted subornation of perjury make for a much more important news story than an English teacher forced to resign.
Although I find it hard to believe that you were forced to resign for "simply going to a barbeque,” I must complement you for your temerity in sharing your story with the world. We all know that it takes a bit of paperwork to fire any teacher. Usually teachers ask principals to let them resign when faced with being terminated. I hope that you said the truth because otherwise, if the Principal filed and rescinded a termination, you might be subject to an easy defamation lawsuit. Good luck!
Im a freshman here. I saw a FOX news truck outside of our school...wow. Just...wow. This is terrible for its praised reputation here. And to think, i come all the way from Astoria, Queens, to attend a school, who's principal is an alleged sex offender? ...disturbing.
Thank god i graduated from this school. But as much as everyone hates the principal and his tactics, you have to admit he is doing a hell of a job in terms of graduation rates and Regents Scores and College Acceptances.
....Anyone remember when Steve Askinazi was principal?
