FFX has always been my favorite Final Fantasy.Possibly my favorite game of all time.And I didn't even finish it.I truly loved that game and I can't wait for it to come out of PS3.

I loved FFX and it's good to hear it's being remastered, but wouldn't it have been a lot cooler to make the prequel to FFX using Braska's story. FFX still looks good even by todays standards and a nice way to celebrate 10 years would have been to expand on the events before the main story. I would probably prefer this over a FF7 remake as awesome as that would be.
I really think that 10 would be easier to remake than 7. I think that SE said themselves that it would take YEARS to remake FF7 because of how big of a game it was. I would rather have a good port of 10 than a bad port of 7.
@rpgjaguar In a way yes, but the amount of time it would take to "remake" not upscale FF7 using the Crystal Engine like in XIII and XIII-2 from the ground up would mean re-designing EVERY stage in the game. While FF10 (fwih) is only a mere HD remaster.

When the fuck are they going to release FF games for PC too? My ps3 was collecting dust for 2 whole years till FF XIII-2 got released and now its collecting dust again till FF X remake gets released. I am just glad not many people are complaining about it being 10 instead of 7 or 8. I mean a full remastered HD remake of a PS1 game would be unbelievably popular and completely new, but those games were SO big, that it would probably take so much time to re-edit it. I am a die hard FFX fan, played and beaten the game over 50 times and there is not a single file I have played through that I haven't felt such a connection with the story. This truly will be on of Square Enix's GREATEST moves.

@1990Emeraldeyes7 The point I am having trouble get across to you is, the gameplay was brilliant and just because a game doesnt sell well doesnt mean anything. gambits were made very nicely, job classes were integrated, and the multiple licence boards kept another useless thing that the developers were happy with. they put in quickenings which helped it appeal to many. if you enjoy a story based game, enjoy 10. = your opinion, but not everyone enjoys "thats garbage" being shouted at them.

@1TheDuckGuy FYI, I played FF 3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-12. I didnt play FF 1 and 2, but I would forgive them for being boring since they are the first FF ever. I found FF3 very boring but I also forgive him for the same reason. About 11 and 14, they are online, they don't count. Finally, FF13, I didnt play it but I watched the complete walkthrough and found the story way less boring than FF12. The only fun things about FF12 are the hunts and secret bosses. You think I may be spoiled? Why?

Cue cutscene. Cutscene action. Battle. grenade. you win. ... Really, a grenade. auto attack? it was extremely easy and not any fun. endless corridors of where the fuck am i going. i didnt bring up 11, ive never played it. 14 was okay, i dont mind repetion.

FF7 was a decent solid rpg for its time- it was my first ff (and i played and finished it only a year after it came out) my 2nd was FFX which i thought was a far more memorable game- it wasnt untill I started surfing the net and reading fanatical ff7fanboy comments years afterwards that I started realising holy shit! That games greatness is blown waaaay out of proportion- so it was the first JRPG that reached a large mainstream western audience big deal- lufia 2 on snes was more memorable to me

Winning an award is besides the fact, if XII was such a great game with all these awards and nominations under it's belt why didn't it sell more than X? @1990Emeraldeyes7 FinalFantasyXII was released 5 years after X.In my opinion, once PS3 came out,gamers focused on purchasing games for the PS3 than games for the PS2.X has been exposed to a longer time frame without the presence of the PS3 compared to XII, therefore generating more sales.I don't think the quality and gameplay of a game should be analyzed by the sales.Not saying X is bad or anything.X has one of the best storyline ever and XII has a very unique and fun gameplay

@1990Emeraldeyes7 The point I am having trouble get across to you is, the gameplay was brilliant and just because a game doesnt sell well doesnt mean anything. gambits were made very nicely, job classes were integrated, and the multiple licence boards kept another useless thing that the developers were happy with. they put in quickenings which helped it appeal to many. if you enjoy a story based game, enjoy 10. = your opinion, but not everyone enjoys "thats garbage" being shouted at them.

@1TheDuckGuy FYI, I played FF 3-4-5-6-7-8-9-10-12. I didnt play FF 1 and 2, but I would forgive them for being boring since they are the first FF ever. I found FF3 very boring but I also forgive him for the same reason. About 11 and 14, they are online, they don't count. Finally, FF13, I didnt play it but I watched the complete walkthrough and found the story way less boring than FF12. The only fun things about FF12 are the hunts and secret bosses. You think I may be spoiled? Why?

@simba90s 13 is much more boring than it looks. playing it and watching it are different things. i watched jak the lost frontier, it looked good, but when i played it was boring. ff13 is same case. its boring as fuck. its overly easy. Cue cutscene. Cutscene action. Battle. grenade. you win. ... Really, a grenade. auto attack? it was extremely easy and not any fun. endless corridors of where the fuck am i going. i didnt bring up 11, ive never played it. 14 was okay, i dont mind repetion.

FF7 was a decent solid rpg for its time- it was my first ff (and i played and finished it only a year after it came out) my 2nd was FFX which i thought was a far more memorable game- it wasnt untill I started surfing the net and reading fanatical ff7fanboy comments years afterwards that I started realising holy shit! That games greatness is blown waaaay out of proportion- so it was the first JRPG that reached a large mainstream western audience big deal- lufia 2 on snes was more memorable to me

@devilledevil98 I think many FFX fans (and veterans) are going to buy that remake simply because of the nostalgic feeling.As you probably realized, there are quite a lot of very good (but rather old) games, where the only problem would be that the graphics are not up to date.A FFX remake is really interesting, because at the moment it is not available on the PS3, and a remake would be (of course) way better than a simple port, also for people who didnt play the game in the PS2 era.

Enough with the crying for FF7! I'm sick of it getting so much attention! It's good but it's overrated! Square should remake all the previous FFs like 6, 8, or 9. So many act like FF9 doesn't exist. No wonder it's underrated. It's story is just mind-blowing. It's also the game that had classical comebacks from the previous games. FF7's too complicated to remake but if they do it, cool but what about the old FF games? I'm glad 10 is coming out since I can't find it in game stores anymore :/

@solarunoi For me it was always the case that Singleplayer games were more fun than Multiplayer, from Competitive over Co-op to MMO´s, because sometimes the people you play with are total idiots.Its also a lot easier to actually enjoy the atmosphere, story or the game in total when playing alone.
