I look at them as a 21st century AC/DC. Listen to AC/DC's catalog and you'll find much the same thing: Straight 4/4 rock. Is either band the greatest in the world? No. But one takes them for what they do. And I enjoy it as such. Hip-hop is far more drenched in banality/repetitiveness.
