this guy does have the look & a tibetan background, but nothing else to compliment for, the least of all being his vocals. the woman MC is just breaking some empty wind. the first & third judges r professionals, but the second male judge actually knows nothing about 原汁原味.
ur preference only tells who u r & how much u know about singing & music in general. this song is supposed to be a free soul's belting on the vast range of mountains. what's this man doing? humming in his own den? but 阿宝's style fits the mood to a t.

lol... your preference for 阿宝... only show that your are lack of taste for quality... no offense... i didn't say the contestant above did well... it's just that 阿宝's singing is just not sounding... and it doesn't take much musical background to determine that... all we need is our two ears... they are the best judges. peace.

it's good to see young people who are "different" from the majority do well in their venture. Pu Ba Jia being the rare guys from Tibet to join the mainstream entertainment is one and another one is a Chinese guy ( nationality India ), who sings in Hindi in extremely good voice is currently the hot favorite to win Indian Idol contest. This is what we call music knows no boundaries.
i really like mei yang chang.but i really think he did not have an extremely good voice.he was just really likable.amit and emon were the ones with the good voices.
he is good looking. That's it.:-)

he's singing one octave lower than the original scale. not as good as 阿宝's male version which is on the same scale as the original version.

chinese is a nationality, tibetan is a race, don't get them mixed, one could be indian tibetan or chinese tibetan or nepali tibetan...

He was beaten by a Tamang Nepalese. Tamangs originally came from Tibet.

i really like mei yang chang.but i really think he did not have an extremely good voice.he was just really likable.amit and emon were the ones with the good voices.
