There is nothing sweet about this song. The melody may be catchy and a person who didn't know the lyrics might think of it as a happy little tune, but it is deep dark and haunting. I'm sure many of us can relate to feeling constant pain, wondering, will we always feel so empty? Even surrounded by beauty, still so melancholy inside.

It would make sense because in reality you do the same you listen to something that sounds happy, but if you hear them it's different. Or see someone who looks happy but learn and really look you see an emptiness. Your comment made me really think about that, just thought I'd share.
