Look at the axle of the waterpump from the top of the engine and see if you can push the fan and make that thing rock back and forth. If it does check the backside of the waterpump pulley for wear it might be rubbing against the toothed crank pulley
The noise isn't actually the water pump but the pulley that puts tension on the timing belt. My suggestion was based upon those items having not been replaced recently. However, I used your video and another on YouTube to find the answer for my e30 and, for me, that whispy sound that underlies the idle, sort of sounds like a belt, goes away at higher speeds... It was my tensioner pulley.
That's your timing belt tensioner pulley. Replace it, your timing belt, and your water pump while you are there. It will resolve the noise and save you a lot of time/money.

dude my car was making that noise and made a turn and it stalled and wouldn't start. May be timing belt i havent got a shop to look at mine yet.
