If the proposed solution provides gas price relief in 7-14 years, why not pass a bill that seriously funds renewable energy instead?! We'll get a more permanent solution in the same amount of time! Republicans just want to put more money in the pocket big oil!

Sadly, Republicans want to vote on an energy bill that doesn't provide "Lower Gas Prices". Offshore drilling has no effect on gas prices in the short term. It is not a solution. The reason Republicans want offshore drilling is because their campaigns are funded by big oil!
