Im 15 and not the smartest but do you recomend this microphone for recording raps on audacity . Like does it have professional sound quality ?

Ha. I didn't know it swivelled up and down either. I've had the back foot resting on a cassette case. Must be something missing in the instructions lol. I read them honest. Mine seems a bit trebly, but I made a cardboard cone like those things the vet puts round a dog's head to stop it scratching its ears. Works a treat.

Because of audio latency with the USB connection. Can I use a USB to Firewire 800 cable for connecting it to a firewire port?

Do you know if there is a difference in sound quality from the web cam made by Blue, which is also supposed to have a good quality sound? I think its called the Blue eyeball.

@benthemiester yeah thats called the eyeball but I think thats just like the snowflake but they just builed a webcam inside of it just to save time trying 2 draw it then build it

@Triviumtiger Ya thanks, I have it now, and the mic is pretty good for a web cam but the video is just ok, needs a lot of lighting for zero latency. Thats ok I really bought it for the audio anyway.

For no reason (and without using an amp - what amp takes USB anyway) my problem has resolved itself and the mic just started working normally for no reason. OK!

I use Soundtrack Pro on a Mac and the input level of my new Blue is super low. Tweaking system settings doesn't raise it nearly enough. Any solutions?
