During the WW II, air pilots were knights or Samurai. Only exception was USAF. P-51 was often reported attacking civilians such as walking women or kids in Japanese home land. It was like their attacking Indian families in older wild west. Japanese pilots never did attack civilians even at Perl Harbor. Japanese planes precisely aimed only military objects. We call them SAMURAI.

AND they shot at pilots and crew that had bailed out of stricken aircraft. The Japanese Army, their mistreatment, torture and murder of countless civilians is common knowledge during the invasion of the Philpines and Maylasia. Bayoneting infants for entertainment is just one of the many atrocities.

先の戦争で学んだこと その一つとして人間の生命は尊いということ どんな作戦であろうと 特攻など 海外では信じられない日本だけの肉弾作戦だ 似たものとしてドイツ軍がジャーマンシェパードに爆弾をつけ 敵の戦車に向けて放った例はある。真珠湾奇襲攻撃の際にも特攻潜 水艦による攻撃（１０名居たが９軍神）があった だから 戦争の長期化による焦りとかが理由ではないと判る 軍の作戦の一つとして太平洋域での連合軍との作戦に取入れられた 。現在、戦争に似た状況にある「領土問題」中国 韓国（竹島）ロシア（北方４島） この問題は「日本固有の領土であり つまり 日本固有の問題である」ということは日米安全保障条約の範囲外に ある。解決は 領土であるという歴史／証拠資料の突き合わせ 実効支配 自衛隊による軍事演習を日本も実施する しか方法が無い 何故なら 日本の領土 領有権を侵犯されているのだから 戦争と同じ 毅然たる態度で日本政府並びに国民は対応しなければならない。核 に囲まれながらも米軍の庇護の下に平和を享受している現在の平和 ボケした島国日本政府／国民にはその重大さが理解できないようだ 。

wow, really? i dont think so. my great uncle was a zero fighter pilot at Pearl Harbor, and I never heard of him talk about strafing civilians?
instead, i heard from my grandparents about P-51s strafing civilians when they bombed the major cities in Japan.

しみじみとした善い歌です、指揮官としては勿論、人間としても素晴らしい方です、部下だった檜与平さんが晩年に遺書にまで加藤部隊長の哀悼を書いておられます、戦死後60年経っても部下に慕われていた本当の軍神だと思います。いい歌を有難う御座います。

対英米戦初期の航空隊指揮官には、陸海軍を問はず、
技量だけでなく、人格的にも立派な人材がおほかつた。
みんな部下からは深く慕はれ、上官からは篤く信頼されてゐた。
加藤建夫以外にも、海軍の江草隆繁、村田重治など、みんなさうだ。

もちろんだ。海軍の戦闘機隊長が全然出てこないから一人挙げると、母艦乗り組みぢやないが、宮野善治郎かな。ともあれたくさんゐるから書いてゐると限度がないので、まあ代表的な二名の飛行隊長にしたといふことだ。どちらかといふと俺は艦爆隊長が好きだな。小林道雄ももちろんだし、特攻に最後まで反対した江間保も立派だ。だが誰か一人となるとやはり江草隆繁だな。
