  • Mclean Daviess and Madisonville was just not ready for that storm i live in Mclean

  • This was so scary hearing the trees break the night before and praying that one wouldn't fall on your house. 2 weeks without a bath or electric. All i ate was a couple sandwiches a day.

  • hey guys I only went without power for 9 days. I know a lot of people had it worse than i did. The big question is what are you doing about the next time? Are you storing food, water, some type of fuel, how will you cook your food? Don;t think your to poor to stock up, do it a little each week and talk to people called preppers for a few ideas on how to get ready for the next big event.. feel free to contact me.

  • I was driving a semi truck headed back from laredo TX as soon as my co-driver and myself entered Dyersburg TN it was like we were driving through a war zone after the destruction. Crazy stuff. Im from Elizabethtown KY by the way I now live in Western OK Sayre OK tornado alley God help me lol.

  • I didn't have power for 3 weeks. And I had to go to school the last week!

  • I have a video on my channel of the meltdown here in Bullitt County. Good times, good times. lol.

  • you stupid baby

    i live in hopkins county

we had no power OR water for 6 weeks

    we had to leave

    and go to nashville

or we would most likely freeze to death

there was no propane to fuel our small heater

so we had no choice but to leave

  • I live in caldwell and i didnt have power for about 2 months...

  • i got hit the worst i live in southern hopkins county. we had no power for 2 weeks.

  • I lived through this... God, I hated it. Not because it was cold, but because there was no power, and a week without clean water in the Radcliff area... I was so bored... Now, if we have another one, and we keep our power... I'll be okay.

  • i live paducah ky and i did not have power for 18 days this ice storm no one was ready for

  • That s why I love Los Angeles California ! sorry never would survive in a cold state! sorry Brave people of the cold lands!

  • oh and oh yeah Coyulito trying living through a BIG wind storm and Ice storm Hudge Branches from both of them funny i was like yay snow when it said it on the weather b4 the ice storm then a few days later I am like I wish this never happened (people is STILL talking about the ice storm here)

  • where i live it got hit like the worst we was out of power for almost 3 weeks the closest shelter by use was closed becuz power difficuties it was terrifying memories :( we was up all night one night and scared of the crashing tree branches VERY close to our house

  • Dont you think that is kinda mean to say to someone

  • i was without power 10 days was in 1 shelter in paris tenessee and 2 in ky it got down to 30degrees in my appt

  • ur an idiot! you dont know ne thing, yea catrina was worse but those people got help, there were over 20 ppl in kentucky that died, they FROZE to death, can u imagine freezing to death? i was lucky, my uncle had a gas stove to heat with, but look at all the people who had nothing!!! This storm was the worse, we were without power for 12 days there was ice about 2 inches thick on stems!!! we had freezing rain for about 48 hrs straight!!! THEN WE HAD SNOW!!!

  • Your SOOO dumb Coyulito you try being froze to death in YOURN OWN HOME all we had was a karison heater and it only warmed one room You try starving for 3 weeks and if you wanted to get out of the state you couldnt cuz of bad roads and and planes (think about that) I was lucky my cats was alive and we love our pets dearly. And I dont risk living in Kentucky because I love Kentucky and everything about it and so why do you liv ein California where its HOT I bet you never saw snow b4

  • wow this storm is awful so many out of power ya know if repubs wouldnt take out the infrastucture that was in obamas bill and repubs giving that money to small buis who cant sell products or or servise so no new jobs but if we put it back where obama wants it in infrastucture and one was the grid making it stronger giving thousands of jobs well guess the power losses will continue if repububs have it there way

  • thats quite a sentence.

  • So glad to see Obama's name attached to this winter storm. I bet if it had happened to Chicago, FEMA would have been involved. But no, it is only in Kentucky so NO FEMA. Great double standard. Obama complains about Bush/Katrina/3 day delay for FEMA. And here is Obama's first test and we are WAY past 3 days and there seems to be NO FEMA on its way.

  • i saw a FEMA helicoptor hovering above a shelter right up the street from my house, but that was after a week of no power, we just got power on today
