I got told that what happened was meteorite entered the earths atmosphere at 53,000kph and broke up, a small fraction then hit his face at 27,000kph just after the fan tapped him on the shoulder, causing a significant amount of pain to put him to the floor without making any damage to his face. The meteorite has been banned from attending all Celtic home and away games.
