  • You have to move faster, stop expecting the ball- move a little, run towards her, and you should really start learning how to dig in volleyball... just sayin'

Good luck dude, you have some skills, use them :D

  • @SuperDilligas

Yeah I am also a goalie and I tend to do that too. But thanks for the advice!

  • you're really good, just use your legs more than your arms. other than that you're set! I'm a libero too so no worries :)

  • Three things:

    1. You'd better switch positions. You should train face front to the net, noone hits from the back of your own field.

    2. 90% of the time you hold your arms together below (platform), i think this is wrong. They should be loose in front of you, separated.

    3. Your center of gravity is too far, it should be closer to your toes. Lean forward.

  • So how would this drill help? im a libero and i dont think hitting the ball over the net is not a good idea.. just a opinion

  • very nice :)

  • tip: dont jump when you set or bump the ball

  • thats EASY =] i can do better of a job =]

  • Make sure you are allready low to the ground when he hits... You can go up way quicker then going down

  • Hmmm I agree. I am used to dive and move my arms a lot and that's why the ball doesn't go accurately to the setter. I should work more on my feet. Thanks for the tip though!

  • One more thing if I may

if you are running for the ball or diving run then put your arms out

Dont run with your arms in front of you, it only slows you down

  • you need to be faster on your feet to get in front of the ball. When the ball is hit or served you are in the best passing position when your in front of it.

It seems you have a habit of moving your arms to the side to pass or what i call reaching. It is better to get in front of it. This wall if the ball is hit very hard at you, you are able to absorb the impact therefore getting a better pass.

To make this short, get in front of the ball and move your feet more.

P.S dont swing at your pass
