宫保鸡丁 is good and it's also one of the most popular dishes around China. but I'm not sure the one you had in the US is authentic or not. Cause I'm in Australia now, and I found that the taste of 宫保鸡丁 and other dishes in locals' favorite Chinese restaurant is acturally suck to us Chinese. They've reformed it in the way how Western people may like it. I'm glad you like Chinese cuisine :-)
