  • JUST READ THE BIBLE Anyone who is captured will be run through with a sword.Their little children will be dashed to death right before their eyes. Their homes will be sacked and their wives raped by the attacking hordes. For I will stir up the Medes against Babylon, and no amount of silver or gold will buy them off.The attacking armies will shoot down the young people with arrows. They will have no mercy on helpless babies and will show no compassion for the children.(Isaiah 13:15-18 NLT

  • There needs to be a few hundred million more views added to this series.

  • /watch?v=VrE-VxP6e9Q

This video showed me that it is okay to be an atheist.

  • And I'm back to the beginning after watching the whole thing. Again.

This really is an outstanding series of videos. Moving, intelligent, clear, eloquent and profound. You deserve all the props. Thanks.

  • I am also a filmmaker (in fiction) but I stand in awe of your documentary which has set the bar high for its intelligent content and presentation which has inspired me in my own work. I am dumbfounded why you haven't had a billion views because this is a story that everyone should see. Thank You.

  • your movie should be included in Zeitgeist The Movie, instead of the original

I can watch evid3nc3 over and over again, and i just convinced a Jehovah witness to watch it as well ;]

  • @tazmaniainc what did he say?

  • @nightingale42

The Jehovah witness didn't come back to me :P

  • @tazmaniainc I am a Jehovah's Witness and I watched all three Zeitgeist Movies. Joseph Peter knows his stuff when comparing traditional Christianity with paganism. Any Jehovah's Witness can show you that from the Bible and from historical evidence. Comparing corrupted Christianity with paganism is like comparing oranges with oranges (they are the same fruit). Jehovah's Witnesses strive to copy first-century Christianity, something Peter Joseph knows nothing about.

  • @robinsonworld

but your bible is not much different from the christian one.

being a x-christian and a person who has done quite a bit research into religions i struggle to see the difference.

  • @tazmaniainc Contrary to popular belief, Jehovah's Witnesses do not have a different Bible. You may have been taught that the King James Version is the only "Bible". There is a huge difference in how we interpret the Scripture. We reject popular notions other religions embrace mainly due to the Scriptural evidence we see when we study them thoroughly. Anyone who has studied with us can tell you that.

  • @robinsonworld

well maybe then you are a better kind of a Jehovas witness. I had one walking in here telling me that creationism is real and hell is real and that he ( obviously ) will go to heaven

  • Wow its hard for me to imagine people stuggling with faith. I guess im lucky in that i have seen Jesus so i know for sure. I have not experienced what its like to not be sure. I guess that must be hard.

  • I'm like halfway through (and I lost my place) but so far this is a fairly sad story.

At least he's not angry about indoctrination, etc.

I will say that one constant thread is how he takes people in higher education as authoritative because of their positions in higher education.

  • Don't close your eyes and try convince yourself that someone was torched and killed because you've been led to believe that you're a guilty sinner destined for hell if you don't. Feel yourself from the emotional manipulation of Christianity, open your eyes, look in the mirror and discover who is really there - YOU.

Life is a journey, not a destination.

  • Thank you.

  • I watched the whole series. As a former LDS missionary, now humanist atheist, you gave voice to so many of the thoughts and reflections I too encountered on my journey. Your narrative is a moving accomplishment of really articulating both sides of the experience. Thank you.

  • Soo you gave up? You thought it wasn't cool enuf? Look begin a Christian is not ment to be easy Didn't God say there would be challenges? You give into the world of course it's going to be easy but when you face judgment it's too late.

  • You two that are arguing, who made the computer and Internet you are currently using? Oh yeah, scientist, argument settled.

  • @DecadencePanda scientists didn´t invent the internet. the engineers from cern did. scientists dont invent things. they discover things.

  • This is a magnificent series of videos. My deepest support. Well done!

  • Starting with 0! Yeah comp sci!

  • amazing, truly amazing

  • Deconversion is still a remarkably hard thing for me (3 years later). Not because of the beliefs - I have fully accepted that those were all a little...uh...loony - but because I live in an area where I am terribly immersed in a heavily fundamental Christian culture (I live in Utah and grew up LDS). I think sometimes watching atheist videos on YouTube helps me feel the sense of community I lost due to deconversion. Thanks to all those who make these videos.

  • doc·u·men·ta·ry [dok-yuh-men-tuh-ree, -tree] Show IPA adjective, noun, plural -ries. adjective 1. Also, doc·u·men·tal [dok-yuh-men-tl] Show IPA. pertaining to, consisting of, or derived from documents: a documentary history of France.

    2. Movies, Television . based on or re-creating an actual event, era, life story, etc., that purports to be factually accurate and contains no fictional elements: a documentary life of Gandhi. How is this a documentary?

  • @MrJossher700 It's based on an actual life story, and is factually accurate and contains no fictional elements. ._.

  • YOU WILL NEVER BE A CHRISTIAN UNLESS GOD MAKE YOU ONE AND IF GOD MAKE YOU ONE YOU CAN NEVER NOT BE ONE. YOU WILL BE ONE FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE BECAUSE GOD WILL KEEP YOU ONE. A PERSON THAT IS TRULY REGENERATE CANNOT BECOME UNREGENERATE. THAT IS IMPOSSIBLE.

  • @rbaxter119 Dude, your caps lock. Turn it off.

  • @rbaxter119 What a fascinating delusion you've constructed. This guy was never Christian...he was doing it wrong....he didn't believe hard enough....he didn't pray hard enough. What are you on? Accept it. People leave your faith who once believed just like you. It shows great insecurity on your part to deny that anyone could turn away from your belief "because its just SO right!". Get over yourself. You have a religion like billions of others and sometimes people quit religion.

  • @jisaid08 Maybe people are self made or man made or parent made Christians but not God made Christians. Maybe their religion lies in their own power or ability and not in the power of God. Maybe they read the Bible but have no experience of the things written in the Bible and having no experience of the things written God is not real to them. The Christian religion is not real to them. The Bible is just like any other history book. They know nothing of the life of grace having no experience ofit

  • @rbaxter119 Since there is zero evidence of any god existing I must say you probably are having a relationship with a compartment in your brain. I will leave it at "you wish you be Christian for the rest of your life so you will be". Its a belief system like Islam, so I don't understand this "god made Christian" nonsense you're spouting out. However, I will say all religions including yours are man made including the god you worship. He or it is imaginary.

  • @jisaid08 God is able to make you a Christian. Maybe someday you shall have an inclination to read the Bible and God will give you faith and a new nature or the Holy Ghost.

I would be as you are but for the grace of God. I know that you have no ability to be a Christian and will never be one unless God make you one. Jesus died on the cross for sinners and rose from the dead. The Scriptures are true. May God give you the grace so that you can believe. You can have forgiveness of your sins.

  • @rbaxter119 You cannot simply believe something to be true because you want to believe. There is no evidence that Jesus ever existed let alone died for anyone's "sins". Humans are not born defective. I don't need "forgiveness for sins" because only I can correct my mistakes. I don't need forgiveness from anyone else but the person I've wronged. I can say the same thing to you though, maybe one day you will be an atheist. One day you might look beyond the god box in your brain.

  • @jisaid08 It's one thing to own a Bible and read the Bible and go to church every Sunday. It is another thing to actually be a real God made Christian and actually experience the things written in the Bible. These people must have a religion that I know nothing of. I shall be a Christian for the rest of my life not because I have any ability to be a Christian but because God will keep me one. Maybe the Bible is just like any other

Book because no experience of power and work of God in lives.

  • @rbaxter119 What a load of horse shit! It looks like riahmatic beat me to the punch by about a month, but I have to say this as well - I'm calling "No True Scotsman" on your comment. What a sneaky, slimy way of defalsifying your beliefs, although that's really nothing new for theists, is it?

  • There is no such thing as a person that was a Christian but no longer is. You may have thought you were a Christian but you never were a Christian that is a God made Christian. For if you were a real Christian you cannot become an unbeliever. That is impossible. People that say they were Christians but no longer are were never Christians. They never had any true grace.

  • @rbaxter119 "No true Scotsman" fallacy

  • @rbaxter119

The difference is, this guy says things and backs them. You just say them like a lunatic and expect people to believe you for no reason.

  • @Kloborgg I guess I just speak from my own experience knowing that I could never not be a Christian knowing that what I have is permanent.Thank you for your replies. I guess the question is Wherein does true religion consist? I would say that it is something supernatural, a work of God and it is permanent. Those whom God makes Christians cannot unmake themselves Christians. I guess the question is What is regeneration? What is true conversion? What is it to be a Christian?

  • @rbaxter119

To be a Christian is to subscribe to the one of a plethora of ancient cults whose central character is "Jesus Christ", usually as a result of being indoctrinated by one's parents and/or community.

  • @Kloborgg I guess what it comes down to is do you believe the Holy Scriptures because that is not what they teach. People do not have the ability of themselves to believe the things contained in the Book. I was not raised a Christian. Did not become one until twenty. I do not expect you to understand things that you have had no experience of. Your thinking is not right thinking. God is able to make you a Christian and if he do you will be one for the rest of your life. This is the truth.

  • @rbaxter119

No, you're wrong. Your personal experience has no impact on the truth. You're saying that God picks and chooses people at random and decides to "make them" believe in him? Is that why 99% of Christians are raised Christian? Are you implying that the majority of people in the world who aren't choosen are doomed from death to eternal punishment? What about people who are sure they've been chosen by the Muslim God or the Hindu gods? Your entire view is so self-centered.

  • @Kloborgg What does a Christian have that an unbeliever does not have? I did not even watch the videos. I just think the idea itself of not being a Christian any more is absurd and can never be because what God gives his sons and daughters is permanent. They not only continue believers but they grow and make progress in the ways of God. Maybe

I should have never wrote anything just the idea itself to me is just unbelievable. What is faith? What is the indwelling Spirit What is the new nature

  • I kind of keep a mental list of atheist faggot nerds, this spergeriousness you display has my full lukewarm attention.

  • I feel that, as a Reform Jew, I have a little more flexibility seeing that Judaism is tolerant towards Jewish atheists. I am closer to a Buddhist/secular humanist view of the world, yet I still embrace a lot of the philosophy of Judaism as I feel it is fundamentally good and morally straightforward (loving one's neighbor as oneself is never bad). I know Christianity shares many of the same beliefs; but a full deconversion, to me, seems initially extreme.

  • @AManWithABigUsername If there is no God, then why bother with any of the tenets of Judaism? All of a sudden you can eat whatever you want, you can use the phone on a friday and you don't have to have curls in your hair.

My ignorance of Jewish ways aside, if you don't believe in god there's literally no reason to stay Jewish other than that of pleasing your family or keeping racial 'purity'.

  • @Lpoolboy I don't bother with those things. I'm speaking more of the culture and the philosophy than I am the guidelines. I remain Jewish because of the fascinating history, and the teachings. Think of Buddhism: it's a set of doctrines that are popular if for no other reason than that they are morally agreeable and intriguing. I don't want to go out saying that the tenets of Judaism are pointless even if I think a lot of them are, but such ideas as respecting oneself and others are important.

  • @AManWithABigUsername You can find them just as, if not more, fascinating if you're not Jewish. And you don't have to be a buddhist to act like one. I meditate, yet I'm no buddha.

  • Every time someone post up a series about non-existence of God, I see many insecure Christians and others rise up and say bad things. Just chill, no one is right. For I know is everyone has his own religion and view of life. Your mom's Christian belief is definitely different from yours. So just be confident and believe in what you believe in. Don't bad mouth any people.

  • While I empathize with you deeply, about Isaiah 53, in particular, which is heinous, I believe that we have little pea brains which serve us well in human affairs but my intuition tells me that there are too many interdependent miracles in the material world alone and there is a higher authority. We have a paper bag over our head and a pinhole to look through to see God. For you, logic and the brain are your treasured idols which is the only failing. Stress your heart, not your head! Nice series

  • To continue, God is unfathomable. The Bible is hyperbolic, metaphoric, culture bound and written by men. God the Father spans universes yet knows every hair on your head, each of us has the Holy Spirt breathed into us and are Sons of God. We are the active speech of God. God is a personal God if we, as humans are loving. If the hungry need feeding and we feed them, then God is love and if we do not do this, God is not expressed. God is where the creature expresses Him. We're other Christs.

  • I hope I am not jumping the gun here! I listened to your whole series and must say that I have and am going through the same emotions and intellectual turmoil that you have gone through and I do agree that "Truth" is the most important thing. However, I don''t agree when you take a leap to empiricism and the brain and what it can understand through the senses and from other human thinker like Descartes and Karen Armstrong. i believe that we humans have pea brains, that God is wholly other.

  • @MrStephenborisoff On the contrary, we humans have the most developed brains we know of. As brains go, ours is, so far, the best. We can understand the universe. We can understand how stars form and die, how life happens, nuclear physics, germ theory, evolution, particle physics. Damnit man, we understand loads. Don't diss the human race by calling us pea brains, we may not have invented the universe but the universe invented us and we're doing a good job of figuring out why.

  • @Lpoolboy Are we capable of figuring out God's ways? A spider has the brains to spin webs, various animals know how to use their smarts to do the things that an animal can do. Human brains do plenty for the things human endeavor to do, but for all the smarts we have it is the tip of a infinite iceberg. Man uses what God has given him to inhabit other planets since this one is overcrowded but pea brains...science reifies things too complex for us to fathom. Intuition glimpses the infinite veil.

  • @Lpoolboy When a person relies his ignorance, it is the beginning of wisdom. All the Descartes and Karen Armstrongs...the logical brain of man grasping the infinite around us. All is vanity. IMHO.

  • @MrStephenborisoff It is people like yourself who would seek to fetter the human spirit for discovery. 'Oh, it's all in vain, let us not bother'. This is a warped view. Who's to say God exists? Not me, nor you. No-one knows for sure but without evidence of his extistence it makes more sense to posit that he does not. Without him we are the highest mind we know of and therefore are able to grant ourselves license to question the universe. We are stardust made flesh.

  • @Lpoolboy I'm not trying to fetter anyone's spirit of anything. The interdependently miraculous universe and parallel universes without end, billions of galaxies, is just too complex for our puny brains. The supra-person that runs the show, I call God. God is not a process; I, a person, am not made by a process but by something greater which uses evolution and probabilities Bur knows everything about humans. Love your statement: We are stardust made flesh. Who made our brainy flesh? Sony?

  • @Lpoolboy I am not an atheist but I do not take the Bible literally but metaphorically since it is so full of logical contradictions and hyperbole. Mr. Lpoolboy, I do not believe that you and I disagree as much as you think we do. There is just not enough space on this comment board to demonstrate this. I believe that God exists as an ineffable, unfathomable "person" which I have not the senses or brain to understand. My opinion. Maimonides says the same. I am not a born-again Christian.

  • @MrStephenborisoff You sound as I did a year ago while in the midst of what would be my deconversion. It's one of the more reasonable concepts of a god one can hold in our modern times. An old friend gave me enough courage to let go eventually, but it is rather benign.

  • you are an inspiration for all humans struggling with theism

  • @andrewcnzz his an inspiration to the devil too, his enjoying torturing them and having too much fun.

  • amazing series, thank you :-)

  • SHARED :D

  • you get a 5/5 for maintaining eye contact with the camera. I'm looking forward to watching this.

  • @fullaflash

    ...is that a good thing?

  • Just finished the whole series. This was amazing, and extremely enlightening. Everything here was EXTREMELY well presented and I give you major props for this whole thing. I'm very impressed by your genuineness and courage in putting your entire deconversion process out there for all of us to see. Thanks a bunch for putting this up!

  • 1 John 2:19

    New King James Version (NKJV)

19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would have continued with us; but they went out that they might be made manifest, that none of them were of us.

  • @darkaus32 And?

  • @darkaus32 What's yer point ?

  • Comment removed

  • @darkaus32 fuck off

  • @darkaus32 He references this later in the series. In any case it is a spurious verse written with the knowledge that one day it could be used to delegitimize people who have found serious flaw enough with christianity to actually leave.

The same applies to 'the fool hath said in their heart there is no god' and others. The bible is hardly an unbiased tome, is it? What else is it going to say.

  • You my friend are a Brumak

  • @brutonak I hope whatever decision you make gives you peace. I know it did for me.

  • Deconversion is one of the hardest things you will go through. I felt as if I lost my best friend. This series is so well done. It should have a billion views. Thank you for taking the time to put this together.

  • @MsLadyLogic Likewise. Christians somehow think that just because we don't believe anymore that the deconversion was somehow a casual affair, or that we were never devout (No True Scotsman Fallacy). They put up so many defenses when interacting with non-believers to try to tell themselves that it could never happen to them, mostly because they are too scared of hell, death, or the ridicule of other people.

  • Christianity is a plague!

  • WOW. I just watched your entire series. Your words and your story are inspirational. Please continue to share you knowledge and philosophy with the world. It gives me hope!

  • some people would say that this epiphany is the holy spirit working through you right now to show the real truth which is a good claim until you realize that paul supposedly saw god in a vision kinda like moses, Catholicism wouldn't be around if not for a few flukes which again some would say is the holy spirit at work. then some may say yo god why are are you working through visions which can be interpreted as maybe an acid trip to which christians say he works in mysterious ways

  • @gilllie666 but this further contradicts revelations saying this is the work of the lord do not change it but aren't matthew mark luke and john just interpretations jotted down as they saw fit after paul introduced jesus to the romans, c'mon man what a scam

  • I just finished watching this testimony. Essentially what you describe is that you learned that some things that you believed were incorrect or had other possible explanations, and therefore you considered that your relationship with God was in the same category. It is a tale of doubt. Sometimes we get lost.

    watch?v=xKz8bEWFGw8

  • @weseeinpart lol

  • @weseeinpart It's not a 'tale of doubt'. It's an account of someone looking for justification for what they believe.

  • Have you ever thought to subtitle this series?

I mean, if you could make the STR files to be available in the net, so another people (like me) could make translations to another languages.

I have sent this videos to some of my friends, unfortunately not all of them speak or understand English...

I´ve just downloaded all the videos and start to translate them... but I will appreciate some help ;)

  • I met with a minor accident a couple of months back and a family member asked me, "If you were to die that day, where do you think your soul would be?" I think this was an incredibly rude remark. Christians have no respect for others' faith. There is no tolerance and understanding for other people's ways. This Sunday, the pastor said "Just being Christian is not enough. Go spread the word of God. Talk about Christ to your neighbor, your co worker.." why do they feel the need to convert people?

  • I would hate for my children to be sent to church or bible school or Sunday school and be brainwashed by pastors. I am amazed how no one questions the ridiculousness of sermons. Isn't it incredibly foolish that only people who believe in the same god as you will go to heaven? Don't you think other religions preach the same thing? They believe they are going to heaven as strongly as you do. So who is right?

  • I find it ridiculous that these people find the need to bad mouth other religions to prove them superior. There is a general attitude of condescension in the church which disturbs me. Evolutions has some loopholes but creationism is downright ridiculous. I feel sad that children are brainwashed in churches from an early age, just like my otherwise freethinking husband was.

  • I am married to a Christian man. His family is very religious and there is intense passive pressure on me to convert. Before our marriage I had promised him that I would convert but when I started going to church and attending sermons the absurdity of Christianity became so stark that I vowed never to convert. it is irrelevant what religion I was born into because I do not practice it. I have been to three churches so far and the pastors always talk ill about other religions.

  • Sorry about the typos. This is an emotional rant because the pressure to convert is mounting and I feel helpless. I will never believe in the insecure, self-obssessed Christian god. I will never buy creationism.

  • NATURAL LIMITS TO EVOLUTION: Only evolution within "kinds" is genetically possible (i.e. varieties of dogs, cats, etc.), but not evolution across "kinds" (i.e. from worm to human). How were species living, reproducing if their vital structures, organs, and reproductive system hadn't evolved yet? Read my Pravda Internet article: WAR AMONG EVOLUTIONISTS! I discuss: Punctuated Equilibrium, "Junk DNA," genetics, mutations, natural selection, fossils, genetic/biological similarities between species

  • @Mogley52 How do you explain common DNA among different species? Worms and humans do have quite a lot in common but it was a long long time ago our evolutionary paths split.

  • @sepelester If I may comment, if has been scientifically disproved that one species cannot genetically evolve, or change, into another completely different species

  • @Tyrone1898 I'm guessing you're saying it's been proved species can't evolve between them. Of course it has, to claim anything else would be silly, like saying a mexican can turn chinese. No dog has ever come from a bird. They do have a common ancestor though.

  • I'm not surprised you looked elsewhere - your Christian beliefs seem all based on emotion and as you said yourself you spent most of your Christian life having never read the bible......you might as well have been in a cult. I'm a bit surprised that after you read the bible that you didn't start looking for answers yourself about the true nature of Christianity instead of running to some ex-christian professor. You know not all Christians are emotional oriented Pentecostals...it's your choice.

  • This looked like a good place to start exploring your channel.

  • I was lucky enough to be born in the UK, so becoming an atheist was completely painless and pretty much a non issue for me. However having seen the kind of cr*p other people can get when they try to relinquish a personal belief I can only express my sincere admiration for what you have done here.

You're a good human being, I could use more words or fancier terms but I think you get the message fine without them.

  • FUCKING RIDICULOUS!!!!!! THIS VIDEO IS STUPID AS SHIT!! DERP DERP BRA

  • god bless guys, nd i just wanted to point out that he didnt want to becoe atheist, it was that satan got to him nd turned hm against god, like happened to me i was in love with god once nd then satan got to me nd i was no longer a christian i became a athiest nd i was eve close to selling my soul to him, but then i was at a youth confrence pretty much like church nd i wanted to leave so bad but then his presence came over me nd i couldnt hold it nd now im changed. i wish i can say more but icant

  • @Andrewskii123

It boggles my mind how you can believe there exists both a God and a Satan...

If Satan really exists then you know you would burn in Hell... an infinite torture... but you were willing to sell your soul to Satan?

Please do explain how your mind is able to make such decisions as to go back and forth between loving God and then wanting to sell your soul and then back to loving God again?

  • @Andrewskii123 You sound just like every Christian I ever met who tries to guilt people back into religion. If someone deconverted from Islam, would you have a problem with it? Of course not, because THEY'RE wrong, right? The only reason that you're a Christian is because in the US, statistically that's what you would be. Your claims hold absolutely no weight for someone that requires evidence.

  • I cannot thank you enough for this beautiful, honest, courageous and heartfelt series. The breadth of knowledge you managed to present without losing the forest for the trees, and the skill with which you analyse it kept me glued to my PC watching every single video you've crafted. Please keep it coming. I just can't wait for your next installment.

One thing though; after all that's said, having 'lost' God, how do you then reconcile yourself with the fact that it all ends when your life ends?

  • Why do athiests hate christians? Really guys cmon.

  • @SlothFul216

Atheists hate/dislike the religions most shoved down their throats, oppresses or encroaches on their life. In this country, that's christianity. The constant repetition of "THIS IS A CHRISTIAN NATION". Bullshit. Most practiced religion doesn't make a country. And especially, not this one. Being told when I can have a child and not allowing human beings that love each other to marry. A few reasons why we're fed up with ALL religions, not just christianity.

  • @SlothFul216 because they're every bit as loathesome and disgusting as themselves... it's like a mirror, see

  • I wish I had the time and brilliance to make such videos. X)

  • So, you lost your faith through your own ego. Using the organic tissue of your brain, you think you are capable of comprehending the Infinite Architect to be non-existent through reasoning. Who led you astray?

  • @1Serval You have to first demonstrate that your God exists in the first place, instead of asserting truth without evidence and expecting reasonable people to become gullible. If you actually pay attention while watching, you'll find every answer you're looking for.

  • Amazing documentary....what sets you apart is your (almost) painfully, slow dismemberment of your faith and what led you to leave it.

Your rhetoric and reasonableness allow for believers to watch this film without being so offended in the first 10 minutes that they turn it off.

    In other words....thank you.

I will be sharing this feverishly. Keep at it man

  • I love how many comments have been submitted while watching this in playlist form. It shows just how compelling the entire series really is.

  • I've watched all the parts of this series you've completed so far and I've really enjoyed your take on this subject. These videos have been so beautifully constructed and executed. You make your points in a well informed and easy to follow way. Thank you for sharing such an intensely personal journey with us. I really appreciate how you've put yourself out there.

  • Just watched the whole series. Most awesome and look forward to more.

  • It's criminal that this amazing series doesn't have millions of views.

  • @TheBiAtheist its becuz your stupid

  • @SkoolyRatt What an intelligent and completely nontroll-like response. You showed me.

  • @TheBiAtheist Evid3nc3 is a very powerful communicator. His message is ironically saving lives for REALS.

  • @batfly Indeed.

  • @TheBiAtheist No kidding... And its because of you posting his username on your channel that I found it. Thanks for that. :)

  • @spook79 You are very welcome. You don't know what it means to me for you to tell me that.

  • Comment removed

  • @Evid3nc3: IMHO, you are the rich soil. I think christians who cannot accept others' point of view are filled with bad soil, otherwise known as "shit".

  • Let me just make something as clear and simple as possible (which is something I am sure you will appreciate after reading all this mumbo jumbo from folks steeped in their own confusion and hysteria) ... There is only one reason you are not a Christian or any other faith for that matter.. and that is or resides in the fact that all human beings suffer from one basic flaw ... all human beings are basically doing one thing ... ooops I only have 53 letters left to write .. perpd at yahoo.com

  • please release it as a film when you are done!

  • I do not believe that you ever knew Jesus as Lord and Saviour- But then again, you may simply be a living example of the "bad soil" that Jesus spoke of, and the "Seed of Faith" just could not grow in you... whatever the reason is that you surrendered to Satan, the World, and Your own Flesh... It is very Sad, to Jesus, and more so for you. I'm sorry for you, that you have chosen Judgement and eventual eternal separation from the Living God for a lie from Satan.

  • @eacevedo325 Why would God create atheists to being with? Please, read the Bible, see all the stuff that breaks the 6th commandment. See that it's okay to sell your children to slavery, see that it's okay to kill people and children, see that true believers like yourself shall handle snakes and drink poison without being harmed. God was mad at men so hee flooded the earth, why wouldn't he be mad now when me gas each other to death? Be a little reasonable and think for yourself ffs.

  • @eacevedo325 In Christianity everything's our fault we're born without the ability to grow the seed of faith born in sin and when we can't see or hear sky guy it's our fault we can't be our own heroes we have to pray to sky guy to save us we're incomplete, we're broken, born that way and can't become anything else all our fault and at the end we get punished for not being in control of something we had no choice in.Then Boogey man satan walks in to tempt and steal us and God continues to watch.

  • @eacevedo325 Evid3nce3 addresses this point in the next video - christians can't accept that someone can be a christian and lose faith entirely. I was christian for 28 years - Pentecostal, went to bible college, spoke in tongues. I am now an atheist having followed a fairly similar path to Evid3nc3. You may not want to believe that a christian who is on fire can find flaws in their system that are eventually utterly devastating, but believe me, those flaws exist. And once you find one or two...

  • Evid3nc3 my story of deconversion is incredibly similar to yours. From the growing up in an Assembly of God Church, to speaking in tongues and feeling good about it then speaking in tongues while feeling like something was not right. I also came across the story of what happen to Judas, and it hit me the same way. Just like you said people can't possibly believe we were "real christians" They think we never felt the things that they felt. Your approach is so dead on.

  • Have you seen the HEAVEN project yet?

It will make you think twice

    More at my channel!

  • This series of your personal trip into atheism is a work upon it's own. You have done well in your efforts to provide a logical cast to your journey, well thought out and empathetic to people believers and non-believers alike. I have to say this is the most enjoyable collection of work I have seen on Youtube. I hold more empathy for believers after following your journey and perhaps understand their need to have a god in their lives as adults in the 21st century. Stellar nucleosynthesis?! :)

  • Belief is nothing to do with intelligence... I can't believe in atheism and I can't believe in a god either in till reality shows that there is or isn't a god... No not even assuming cuz what if you assume one thing but the other is real although not likely? That would mean you don't know so I can't! Just because Christianity and other religions might be full of holes does not cross the possibility of a divine being out. Neither has God spoken to me! Since when the fuck was assuming intelligent?

  • I'm gonna kidnap a christian every week from the church down the road. Then I'm gonna tie them to a chair and tape their eyelids open and force them to watch this over and over and over again. And on the seventh day they will rest. Free from the shackles of their own minds.

    Oh did someone mention empathy?

  • You like being a Christian DO NOT watch it.

This series will f.. your beliefs.

  • This guy just gave a false view of the bible..Once saved always saved. You can't lose your salvation. Ephesians 1 says believers are sealed with the Holy Spirit and 1st John 2:19 basically states that people fell from the faith because they never was of the faith. The Spirit of God never changed his heart. Pray for him and all those who are lost

  • @dymez100

Yeah and the Bible also says things like this:

Exodus15:3 - The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.

Romans 15:33 - Now the God of peace be with you all. Amen.

Everyone interprets the Bible differently... why? Because religion is pretty much a personal thing. Your ideologies cannot be summarized and generalized into the Bible. Believers can't agree on any one thing - they have their own dissonances with the Bible. It's part of the reason why there are so -to be continued

  • @dymez100

part of the reason why there are so many denominations of Christianity... and so many religions. Maybe if and when you open your eyes to that and the many other compelling reasons as to why the whole thing just doesn't make much sense in the arena of truth... maybe then, you will understand.

John 8:32 - Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.

  • @dymez100 who's fault is that then? whoever didnt teach him properly is responsible for him going to hell then right?

  • W/ world events such as the coming global economic crises, fall of sovereignty of countries, the global push of international bankers/political leaders to a 1 world gov't reminiscent of Babylon (& their affiliation to Satanic secret societies), earthquakes, wars & rumor of wars, the falling away of many fr. the faith, all prophesied in the Bible, my question is why didn't I become a Christian sooner. See the documentary "To Hell and Back" by Dr. Maurice Rawlings here on Youtube.

  • I think when your completely done with the series you should release some download with all of them in one so we can watch from this video to the last. Even as a paid download or dvd or what ever would be worth it! this series is truly educational and inspirational to everyone
