  • Hah hah!! I remember these commercials! Good stuff! lol... "Pick up the original. Pick up the Pace."

  • That was painfully cheesy to watch.

  • These commercials are great.

  • Salsa is stinkin' delicious.

  • Jewyork city !!! lol

  • actually Pace is owned by Campbell soup company its made at a factory in Napoleon, OH made in the same area as Prego Sauce

  • "Get a rope" They are going to hang him?!

  • I would love to see another classic commercial featured four men including Floyd.

I like the part when one man asked his co-horts, "Don't we think we're being to hard on Floyd?" They looked at each other and replied in unison by saying "Nah!". They drove their car with Floyd tied behind them. I think that did sometime drastic to him when after saying "New York City?!!" Hilarious.

  • Which is worse, me still loving these commercials, or me being old enough to remember them? o.O

  • So they plan on murdering cookie in cold blood for buying the wrong type of salsa? That is just sad :(

  • Did you have to blast our ears off with the audio level suddenly going up?

  • Um, excuse me, I think there are plenty of people in New York City who "know what salsa should taste like." Just walk into any bodega. But it is still a seriously funny commercial.

  • I hadn't thought of this commercial for many years, and for some reason it just popped into my head a few days ago. It's funny how certain commercials from way back then stuck in my mind. I used to love that "New York City" line. And then that cow saying "animal" at the end. I feel sorta old watching it now, though. Lol

  • @virgofemme5 - I know exactly how you feel. lol

  • @virgofemme5 Thanks for responding.

  • Around a herd a cattle I wouldn't want to pick up anything big and chunky.

  • Cookie sure is an ornery cuss.

  • one of my favorite commericials ever, lol

  • PEE-CAHN-TEH

    lol peeconee

  • @trojanrunner87 Love your comment!! heheheh

  • @trojanrunner87 Love you comment!! heheheh

  • does anybody know what the parody was of this commercial where they say "NEW YORK CITY!?!?" and the cowboys pull out guns and shoot the guy? appreciate it.

  • @ricendice I think it was a sketch on Robot Chicken. After they kill the guy, one of the shooters tastes the NYC chili and proclaims "Actually, it's pretty good." You can find it on the adult swim website.

  • @acerbicvoice thanks acer... I'm going to add your comment to the description of this vid. thanks

  • Pace is made in San Antonio. the other one is made in New York City?!

  • @tbbyolumbatobby

Im not sure if there is Pace Factory in San Antonio but i knew for a fact that Pace is also made in Napoleon, OH its owned by Campbell Soup Company where i worked and even tho i didnt work in that Department my mom works in the Department where Pace is made same Dept where Prego Sauce is made

  • @AmericanNinja85 I had an uncle who worked for Campbell's soup in Paris, TX. That was a main factory there. I don't know about back in the 90s when these commercials came out, but in 2006 the Pace bottles said manufactured in Paris, TX right on the bottle.

  • @abcizdaman

all the labels i believe are printed in Paris, TX also it probably sounds better when it says made in Texas but i know its made in Both Paris and Napoleon, OH

  • Great commercial (I still buy Pace), but coud you fix THE AUDIO LEVEL?

  • Texas and new york both suck dick in my book...

  • It's funny cause they'd kill a guy got buying the wrong salsa

  • I wonder if it really made in Sanatonio.

  • "GET A ROPE" HAHAHAHA thats a classic line i can never forget!!!! awsome i find this here thanks fos uploading it guys!!

  • no problem

  • lol the first cowboy says it like "PEEECAUNTEEE" sauce when its picante

  • NEW YORK CITY!!!!!

  • NEW YORK CITY!?! O.o

  • Why can I remember this annoying commercial from my childhood like it was yesterday, yet I cannot remember the quadratic formula to save my life?

  • (-b+-√-b²-4ac)/2a

the -b²-4ac is under the square root.

    lol

  • Get a rope!

  • always remember this commercial. GET A ROPE.

  • the hot thik & chunky is sometimes hard to find, but is the best I have found. Bangin me some right now.

    MMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmMMMMMMMMMMMMmmmm!!!!!!!!

  • Ah, the memories...

    "Get a rope."

  • The Pace factory was right behind my house in San Antonio! Every Morning as you stepped out side you could smell the garlic and onion cooking! It was a sweet sweet smell! To us at least it was! Family and friends staying over could not take the smell very well! It is no longer Pace it something Valley. Dont really know the company name well. But you still smell them making salsa. Only it between 8 am to noon. No longer from 6 am to 5 pm.

  • "This stuff is made in New York City!"

    "Mooooooo York City!?"

  • NEW YORK CITY?!?!

    Get a rope

    LOL

    Classic commercials kick ass.

  • Pace isn't made in San Antonio. The back of the label says Paris, TX?

  • I'll have to get back to you on that

  • @JasonEldur

Campbell's bought Pace a while ago, and closed the plant in San Antonio. Damn shame, really. You'll notice that they don't make any reference to San Antonio anymore in the modern ads.

  • @teeleton oh the irony lmao. now it really is made in NYC or as the origionally written line says New Jersey.

  • @eurasian73 wether is paris tx or san antone the thing is that it is made here in texas where the best salsas come from

  • @eurasian73

    PARIS, TEXAS?!

  • Hahaha...

  • texas salsa burns the evil inside of you and shoots flames from within your firepit out into the death camode

  • Every time someone mentions New York City in my presence, I feel I must proclaim

    NEW YORK CITY!?

  • @RJWaters2 Alton Brown made this a running gag on his show Good Eats. Any time someone mentions New York City, well, you get the picture...

  • @RJWaters2 It'd be funnier if you said "Get a Rope" right after it.

  • Pace thick and chunky salsa is better than the picante sauce

  • 0:20

  • pace iz waaay better cold yuuum

  • NEW YORK CITY!!!!!!!?? O.o

    hb151 "Approved."

  • Get a rope...

    Best commercial line EVER

  • Gotta love those "New York City" salsa commercials. The people of the southwest really know what salsa and picante sauce should be like, while salsa makers in New York City couldn't decide whether to make salsa or oven mitts! Okay, that was another commercial...

  • New York City?!

  • I dont know I hate pace but then again I live in New Mexico the land of chile So I am very preticular when It comes to salsa (we spell chile instead of chili IDK why but we do)

  • I used to despise Pace Picante sauce because it paled in comparison to the more freshly prepared salsa available at any local Tex Mex eatery. When I lived with my grandpa, I grew to appreciate it. He'd buy the ginormous container of Pace from Sam's. I remember some serious snacking going on with chips. I got past its mass-produced pre-packaged flavor pretty quickly and proceeded to chow down on a regular basis. It's like chunky spicy ketchup! Not really salsa but still good on chips!

  • Have you ever considered using narcotics?

  • So, let me get this straight...they killed a man over SALSA?

  • Not just Salsa, but Salsa from New York City! lol

  • Texans don't play when it comes to our salsa. And Salsa made in New York City, of all places, may as well be poison.

  • im from new york farm country and a friend of mine is from the city makes a mean salsa. no its not from the fact hes from NY or that a few of his grandparents are mexican (Native/spanish) it just taste good all the ingredients are grown in NY

  • "get a rope" I love it makes me feel like im eight years old again seeing this

  • where's the part where cookie's actually tied up to the back of the car??

  • idk. I'll look though

  • mooo york city? lol :)

  • even the cows know!

  • Mmmm I LOVE Pace!

  • Get a rope!

    I still use that line..

  • This stuff's made in New York City.

  • Cookie, you fool!

  • NEW YORK CITY?!???
