Always amazed when people dis you fellers. It's easy to do it in writing. I doubt anyone would do it to your face... Reminds me of the T-Shirt, "For demo, push here." I appreciate all you have done. Thank you for putting these up on Youtube. We are learning many of the techniques, some with a different twist but you guys have plenty of energy and that keeps us inspired. BIG THANKS!
@casadekenpo You guys have the most comprehensive, most energetic, most well done series of Kenpo SD techs that I've seen online. I hope to have my series close to as good as you guys' stuff. Props again!
@casadekenpo LOLOLOL yeah man I gotcha back. I'll be in the house with a bull horn shoutin:" CASA DE KENPO IS IN DA CASA!! YALL READY TO KICK SOME CASA?" or something.
Lol I like you guys' interpretation of this and I like how all three instructors with three different body types still performed the primary aspects of this technique and yet still grafted onto it the movements that fit their body types skill sets and preferences best.Good job.
@louiswashington1977 Pump the breaks dude, all I said is that I'd do what I need to do. You need to recognize that most of the weird things I do during techniques is for fun. After all...we're all just play fighting in our pajamas. Also, were you not paying attention when we were teaching the technique in the video? As always, if you can do better..put it out there for the world to see.
@louiswashington1977 Jackass...I said "I'd do whatever I need to do to GTFO" Meaning, I'd do whatever I need to do in a fight to GTFO of the situation.
@casadekenpo The guy didn't know the meaning of the acronym and thought it was an insult. But you don't need to get mad about it. Anyways, his point about grappling against multiple opponents is valid. Even in your video, at 1:47, the guy says you don't know how many people you will be facing. You can grapple against only one opponent.
So yea at 4:35 - in a mass attack situation - you drop to the ground (not pushed or tackled, but voluntarily flop on your back) then do a breakdance spin leaving yourself wide open to be stomped (notice your attacker pauses his attack while you get into position)...and tie yourself up with an opponent using a leg lock?
Seriously? Anyway, you got the gaseous part down pat - the first 2:40 of this vid was a bunch of hot air.
@casadekenpo Great vids guys.. and just an fyi.. Mr. Speakman Does train BJJ under Todd Nathanson In chatsworth.. So do many of his top guys in the organization, including myself.. keep up the good work!
Thanks guys putting motion on u tube as a reference. I am testing for 1st brown Sept 2009. This has helped me tremendously. I have learnt other arts but the Ed Parker system is the best for reality. I come from the land down under women glow and men thunder can you hear the thunder in Oz ! I'm sure you will when I acheive 1st black. You guys rock in all aspects of the martial arts. I find alot of people in the arts know, but there seems to be alot that don't have a clue at all Thanks Kenpo Dave
Ooops! Yes, these guys are great instructors. They show how the technique is written, but they also show that it doesn't always go as planned, and you should always have alternate strikes and targets in mind.
So is that what you do? Run around to every body elses videos to talk shit and hide behind your keyboard? As i stated on the last vid you were bashing... you cant run shit but your mouth.... keep it up casa de kenpo, fuck this guy!
You guys are awesome! Your clips have helped me tremendously! I'm working toward my 3rd brown--any plans for showing long form 3? Keep up the great work!
thank you guy,s for the explanation of this really effective technique

@Deilgyre If you can't see that I was doing it for fun, then you must REALLY be uptight. Try some Yoga or something bro.

What if the other guys have longer arms than you do, so you can't strike the throat and they are stronger, so you can't collapse the arm?
Also, shouldn't you say something about the dangers of striking someone's throat.
louiswashington1977 1 year ago
@louiswashington1977 If you can't reach the throat, try a closer target.

love how with three different body types all three can make it work.
