We had one of these in out living room,,,,,,,So my cousin, (with was playing the wii...)He was boxing on the wii and the wire hit the fan (a little hard) and the WHOLE THING TORE off the freakin ceiling!!!!!
When it wobbles, that means the blades are not at the same height each. One blade could be causing the problem. Such as the one bending upwards! Get a ruler and measure each one. The one or more that has more height is to bend it down like the other ones.
Are the brackets mounted on some sort of ring adaptor? It seems that the brackets are connected to that ring. A little like the Westinghouse Installer's Choice. For the light kit pull chain, I guess you could just replace it. I also have a fan that the light kit pull chain have to be pull up otherwise its hard to pull.
