Great upload! This is typical swingin' stuff from Blu Note and Andrew Hill. Hill, from my hometown of Chicago, has been called an "avant garde" or "free" jazz pianist. I consider him to be more of an "in" player than an "out" player though he certainly can play in the out style. But here you can easily hear the swing in this tune which an original Hill composition. Again, great upload.
I love how Andrew Hill can make a straight up blues groove sound all angular and spidery. Such a cool tune.

This is the first time I've heard a jazz song and almost completely ignored the piano. God damn Henderson can blow a horn!
