I read the chapter, "The Women of Kendall Green: Coeducation at Gallaudet, 1860-1910" by Lindsey M. Parker was very educational and informal for me to understand the difficult situations the females faced under Edward Miner Gallaudet and the male students too. There was a nice photo of Alto Lowman in there.
