  • Where was the tap?

  • talk about a motor. i'm exhausted just watching these guys. great match. non-stop.

  • Why does the artist say 50 Cent and not 2pac? Pacs song was harder, better and realer! :(

    Good Bjj either way!

  • 3:29 rather

  • Did you see that bridge at 3:36?

  • I strive to be like this guy. he has some of the most exciting blackbelt fights on youtube.

  • i have been training with rico this week. he is on another level

  • Good video, shitty music. Anyone with respect for this martial art would not use this music.

  • @Unreal75 I DEFINITELY AGREE

  • Completely controlled him the whole fight, awesome transitions.

  • This music is completely unnecessary for a jiu jitsu fight lol

  • they are both extremely sloppy with their technique to say theyre both black belts :S

  • @njcourcier dude u obviously have no idea what you are talking about

  • @XxPhillipXxx im a mixed martial artist pal, i do know what im talking about, im a 2nd dan blackbelt in japanese jiu jitsu.

  • @njcourcier lmfao xD youre not a black belt, if you was you wouldnt have said tht, if you was even a blue u wouldnt have said tht

  • thats why i fucked your bitch you fat motherfucker ...

  • Jiu-Jitsu is not brutal. It is, in fact, gentle (literal translation). BJJ is not tiring when performed properly. After a solid our of sparring at my gym, only the whites and some blues are really tired. Purps and above are just catching their second wind. I can spar with my teammates at full speed, 100% of the time without concern for injury (purples and above). What other art can make this claim? BJJ is about balance, leverage and cunning not strength and speed.

  • There is no martial art that is better than another one, you just have to find the one suit for you. It's not about which one will work in a street fight, it's all about evolving as a person. Retards!

  • @Lollefant yes there is if there wasn't a better martial arts royce gracie wouldn't beat all the ufc's besides one with was a draw by some one way bigger than him and the gracies also made every mma fighter today take bbj class not on fighter in mma doesn't have a brazil jiu jitsu background

  • @JOAOBUNITAO ok... you obviously didn't comprehend me... you're not supposed to compare martial arts. Sure, for combat, BJJ is very well suited for the ground. But well, if you don't even get my point, then there is no meaning in explaining.

  • @Lollefant no bro i understood completely but think your wrong.

  • @CameronRawrr hell yea it is

  • im 16 and ive always loved jiu jitsu and im really flexable and i have nice grip but i cant find a gym around here in NC=(

  • "That's why I F* your B* you fat mother F* " HAHAHA...the good ole days!!! That's what I call an oldie but goody from Tupac.

  • horrible ..... horrible music

  • im thinking of doing a martial art .... i did oxing before for around a year but in a fight they could just get the boxer in the floor and brake his hand so im going to try something new im thinking about doing aikido any suggestions :)

  • @12345678ix i wouldnt do aikido: aikido seems like a joke to me, itss very risky and its not 100% succesfull when fighting, you should go for brazilian jiujitsu, trust me.

  • @ChicanoRockero There is always something that you can take from every single martial available and incorporate it to your bag of tricks if you will. Never discount a Martial art simply because it looks like a joke. I thought Karate was a joke and would never work in a real fight situation or even in MMA until i saw Lyoto Machida use the good elements about Karate and incorporate it in his repertoire and Drove fighters crazy because they couldn't figure out what he was doing.

  • @ChicanoRockero aikido is ju jitsu for pussies

  • @12345678ix jiu jitsu

  • @12345678ix

don't listen to any other opinions but mine with concern about doing aikido or not.. Very simply try out all the martial arts you have an interest in and pick the one that is most fun for you. Never get caught up in the stupid arguments presented here of "x" art is better and "y" as these people don't know what martial arts are about.

  • @prickett233 I'm really not buying into what you have to say here (particularly the part where you tell him to listen to only you). Not necessarily because your personal ideals are wrong, but because it's wrong to think that martial arts should have the same meaning for everybody. Some people genuinely seek out martial arts for the sake of learning how to fight or defend themselves. In that case, it absolutely does matter which one is more effective.

  • @12345678ix akido df... try muay thai its more precise

  • 2 pac *-*

  • shit that was intense when i roll i go all slow n stuff

  • bjj is fun and if you get something broke you will learn to tap faster

  • gay ass music.. why ruin bjj like that

  • HRDSTYLZGRL this make look ridiculous to you but this style of fighting can be very devastatong to a unsuspecting opponent. any person who doesnt know how to defend themselves against jiu jitsu could have boned broken very quickly

  • its not tiring, after doing it a while ive done most ofthis, and once you get good, you coulddo that all day and not get tired

  • this is not typical. Unless you play a really lazy game or are a phenom, a good gym will have plenty of talent to regularly push you to your limits, mentally and physically.

  • if you watch 2 realy good people, they arnt tired, jus cause you go to a gym doesnt mean your good, ive trained under david adiv for over 7 years, i know what im talking about

  • So you're basically saying if we were at the same level, and played our 'A" games for 30 minutes straight, you would not get tired? Because I know I would probably vomit by the end.

  • holy shit this looks tiring

  • try it out. it's bone-breaking and utterly brutal, believe someone with 10 years of experience in the sport.

  • it shouldnt be bone breaking when your training, but yes it is dangerous :) and dont go into it too wild, someone can get hurt :)

  • @Lollefant im just starting, i would love to to roll with someone with mad skills

  • You think that until you get your arm broken

  • BJJ > Wrestling...

  • can some one tell me what the name of the song in the vid is????

  • 2pac - hit em up

  • Admittedly, I have never taken a lesson in Jiu-Jitsu or Karate in my entire life (so I am totally ignorant to the nuances), but this looks more like a grappling sport (i.e. Greco-Roman). I am sure you experts see style and stuff here, but to me it just looks like schoolyard wrestling with a referee. I wouldn't take lessons in this. It looks really sketchy.

  • Believe me my friend there is much more going on than meets the eye. These are very high level brazilian jiujitsu fighters and believe me if you dont know it you dont defend it.point blank..There is more than schoolyard wrestling and i understand if you have not trained in anything and see this it looks funny.Give it a chance, try a couple classes. You never know you might be world champ material and dont even know it! ;-)

  • Best advise ever, my friend! real fighter and student attitude! Wish all jiu-jitsu fighters had your feelings! Greetings from Brazil and Japan!

  • bwahahhaha school wrestling, i honestly think high school wrestling and such is a joke!! in competition or in real fights there arent that many benefits from it. an average blue belt at my place will destroy every wrestling kid at my school with submissions. im only a white belt with 4 months and i can beat almost all of the wrestlers in submission wrestling. your absolutely right, if they dont know it, they dont defend it. lol

  • Yes, I'm glad you admitted to your ignorance, because even a beginner that is half your size in BBJ would take you down.

  • Again, the question in my mind is whether this is really a classic jiu-jitsu or just wrestling? I see all the matches in the background and they all appear to be rolling around on the floor using a lot of wrestling moves. I'm not saying this isn' useful. A trained GR wrestler would take someone down just as easily. My question is whether this is a martial art or just wrestling?

  • Okay, well you see a lot of cool fighting and action in movies and they seem untouchable, but in a real MMA fight, it looks nothing like that. But that doesn't mean they're just playing around, because these guys have many years of experience.

  • well these are extremely high leveled (black belt) jiu jitsu practitioners and one slip up can cost them the match. so thats why u see them mostly wrestling around. but to a person who isn't really trained at all with submission wrestling, a simple blue belt who has done BJJ for 1 year could submit some1 in an instant

  • yeah like for example, those blue belts in bjj from ATT would submit a unlegitimate blackbelt in NA within mins...

  • 1. Greco-roman u can't touch the legs

    2. U cant be on your back in wrestling

    3. U cant wear a gi in wrestling

    4. there aren't limb locks in wrestling

    5. last but not least jiu jitsu is a grappling sport

  • whatever the song are awesome but no offense they dident fit the video .....
