This really expanded my understanding of a man I already considered to be THE greatest American, Robert F. Kennedy. -- For me that's because of how far he had to shift his perspective, personally, to get to the level of empathy that he did. He didn't come from struggle or hardship, and yet he made the struggles and hardships of others into his own. And fought to transform them as if they were his own.
An absolute must see documentary. I've had the opportunity to see this film on several occasions and it continues to grow on me. This is not just the speech but the whole 1966 event which was so monumental in South Africa (but barely reported in the US). The present day interviews of key participants juxtaposed with the discovered archival footage is incredible. Amidst the excitement you sense the danger surrounding Kennedy, the students, and the black leaders. Totally Inspiring.
