Did you disable DX10?? and you needa put shadows on low, also get windows 7 or windows xp;)

Bro, is that a skip lag that happens during when you spray the weeds and stuff and they set alite? I'm just curios. It seemed like it. (Not lag, but that thing it does where it kinda slows down. Processor lag?)

I have a Pentium 4 3.2GHZ HT with 3GB ram, and I wanted to buy the 8600GT.

Also, what do you recommend, the 8600GT 256MB (More clock speed) or the 8600GT 512MB (less clock speed)

But there is somethimes some lag because vista was loading. but that was CPU lag

With XP no problems

I would suggest the 8600GT 512MB and OC it.

Well I just bumped into somthing that bought me to a halt.

There is a 512MB 8600GT DDR2 and a 256MB 8600GT DDR3. I searched around and found out the DDR3 is way more powerfull, it just has less memory. But the DDR2 is slower. When you said overclock, how much can you overclock the 512mb to?

If it comes near to the DDR3 speed, then I'll buy the DDR2 one, if not, I'll go for the DDR3. :D

If when you press something like "W" for move and it takes longer to react than normal what does that indicate? Is that low fps or what?

i think you can get around 15fps?

download FRAPS and enable it then you will see your fps in game

Hey your right but i use the xfire thing and press scroll lock x and it says about 10-15 fps when Im in combat and 20-25 when Im still looking at the view loIz. Is there anyways to get a better fps, preferably without buying another graphics card?

Hey, just a query; i just borrowed assassins creed from a friend and it seems to be slightly laggy (when i move the mouse it doesn't react as fast as i might expect even on low settings). Can you tell (in relation to assassins creed) if far cry 2 will be laggy for me?

Also, do you know of any particular methods of quickening the reaction time for the controls for any of those two games?
