And I'm quite certain the Georgians never asked for permission to attack anyone because that would imply that they had planned in advance to do so which they most likely didn't. If the Georgians had planned the war in advance they probably would have mobilized their armed forces before the war started but in reality they didn't do so until the fighting was well underway.

@StiviGun1 the plane is releasing flares for that is a standard escape routine - he makes an attack run with missiles or bombs and when he wants to pull out he releases flares as a precaution measure. :) Sorry, I don't know the answer to the other two questions.

@Fergusius A standard escaping technique. It may be. Anyway, the aircraft looks cool launching its rockets and then making those evading maneuvers and releasing flares. I don't know what pilots were piloting those Su-25s that bombed Georgia, but they seemed to be pretty good. Veterans from Chechnya, perhaps.

@Sohai300 :)) How do you know the rockets missed? It doesn't show the exact spot where the rockets hit. Those were unguided rockets BTW, not missiles. I think they used the Russian counter part of the Hydra, which are 80mm caliber rockets, but I'm not sure though.
