  • wow great job how long did it take you to learn this?

  • precioso!

  • I have a new flute now too. replaced my yamaha last march once i had gained my grade 8.

  • Do you like it? I don't like the head joint for reason.

  • WOW on a yamaha 281? she sounds splendid!

  • Who knew you could get an actual nice sound of of a student flute haha. :]

  • It depends on how you are blowing into your flute, My teacher can make a 15 year old flute sound like a gold flute or a profesional flute.

  • It's hard to hear you on here, I love this piece though, I'm playing it for my grade nine RCM examination tomorrow, and it was one of my university audition pieces. Just keep working, and try to keep the tone fuller, because it sounds kind of airy.

  • great but the runs are a bit uneven at times

  • I played this piece in my first year of university...as you probably know this is a VERY well known peice for flute and piano, and it takes alot to put it together. I noticed when you got to the middle of the piece you were speeding through there, also you can hardly hear you because the piano is too loud. I think if you work on it a bit harder and not have ur accompanist so loud it would be a lot better!!!! keep up the good work

  • this is very nice, but some of the runs were a bit sloppy, its just a matter of finger patterning, I'm playing this peice now (I'm 16 also) and I love it and am auditioning for colleges with it, but its very important that when you play it you watch your tempo, because you rushed a bit into the piu animato e agitato, section, even though it sounded like you knew what you were doing, maybe you were nervous? but it got a bit rushed so watch your speed :).

    -Rachel

p.s. i cant wait to hear more.

  • YOU'RE AMAZING! :D

    i love your tone.

& plus. you're the perfect example

of the fact that you don't need a

muramatsu or powell to play well

with a good, rich tone. :)

  • amazing!

  • over all, nice job

watch your triplets in the beginning, they are a little out of whack as well as the rhythm in general. make sure to keep a steady tempo. i think that your piu animato/agitato section was too fast, especially in comparison to the tempo you took the vivo. pay more attention to your tempo markings. during the a temp/vivo be careful of the part after the 'c' trill (staccato 16th notes) because you were playing them too fast compared to the tempo you were just playing the triplets

  • im trying to learn this peice

your a very good flute player

    =D

  • Hey, this is very good. I'm playing this piece for my audition to the University of Nebraska at Lincoln, and playing along with this video really helps!

  • Thanks,

    Good luck with the audition,

  • this is great.

the piece is quite a bit slower though.

youll sound great on a better flute.

  • Overall, very good playing. I can tell you really worked on this piece. Unfortunately, the recording was so "live" that I couldn't really hear the articulation. Do pay attention to your fingers so that they don't fly off the keys and that you're not using such a sharp angle. This will help with you with the smoothness that both the instrument and the piece requires. Keep up the good work!

  • She play it pretty well! :D Though I think she's playing it way too fast :S

  • really great look forward to hearing more

  • Awesome. I'm doing this piece too - it's my fave! You play it really really well.

  • Good job on this. You can add it as a video response to one of my flute videos if you want.

  • best flutest i know!!!! woop woop nat!

  • a little good!
