it's written in the score that they send you like that. Actually, it's written as "She isn't a Meeskite at all" referencing to the song earlier in the show. "She wouldn't look Jewish at all" are optional lyrics. Anyway, the point is, it's supposed to be sung. It's only whispered in the movie, and the movie is completely inaccurate anyway.

some times they dont let you when its just a "highschool play" cuz they think your not experianced enough, and it will take away from the acting.
