  • i enjoyed your retail 101 videos. I make the Retail movies, if you haven't seen them, please check out my channel. btw, I subscribed to you too.

  • Great comedy! Just love the humor.

  • return the items saying they are defective for the same item ...then take unopened item to store for return or exchange depending on store.

  • So i went to Best Buy today...

My hard drive and motherboard are malfunctioning. "That's hardware, we don't cover hardware in the warranty." ...Fine, but I had an HP certified technician look at it and he says I don't have a virus, the OS you installed was used on many different computers and that is why it deleted Office 2003 and will not run as a legal OS. "We don't cover software in the warranty." But YOU screwed up. "We don't cover mistakes in the warranty." Umm... WHAT?!

  • Lol 1995!

  • So great!

  • I love you for making this

  • Best Buy has the worst return policies!! I will never buy there again.

  • Target has crap return policies as well. Unfortunately, the software/videogame return policy is that way because of a shit federal law that is in complete favor of these stores and the software developers. On top of that, it completely defies the consumer protection acts. SCREW BESTBUY, TARGET, AND CIRCUIT CITY.

  • My experience was with unopened DVDs that I was only trying to exchange (and pay the difference) to get the Blu-Ray version as I had received a Blu-Ray player for Christmas. It wasn't just the no it was the way they handled the whole thing. They have a very strict corporate mandate on returns and they find a lot of ways to reject them. Just do a web search on it. Best Buy is worse than most.

  • Of course the video is blown out of proportion and most of the information is incorrect. I work at Best Buy, but these videos are hilarious.

Its a 30 day return policy, 14 days on cameras and CPUs with 15% restocking fee (because we lose money anyway when we resell it opened), and we only recommend products that the customer will likely need, such as a USB cable for a printer.

  • I am sorry for you... you seem like an honest person, what the hell are you doing at Best Buy? I was still IN THE STORE with a purchase when I got called "Someone else brought Princess Bride, get Shrek instead." Unopened, barely 40 seconds after purchased, not even out of the building and I'm told it cannot be returned/exchanged, etc...

  • lol. Kay. Anyone buying this? Cause Best Buy is screwing me over big time! They have 'repaired' my laptop 5 times. I took it it an HP certified pro and he said the motherboard and hard drive were faulty. Best Buy, however, said there was nothing wrong with the computer even though they couldn't get it to turn on.

And a few weeks ago I brought it back again because it still doesn't turn on, and was told there now is a virus. How does a powerless computer get a virus? It doesn't! That's crap!

  • All that stuff he listed can be returned. As long as its not opened. You can return Game systems even if opened. I did it. LIES!!

  • Then again, let's say that the video game or game system is faulty, incompatible, or even the wrong product and it isn't your fault. In this scenario, you just spent a shit full of money for nothing. Its all because of that corrupt copywright law that favors stores and developers and defys consumer protection rights.

  • very cutee boys!! <3

  • lol this is funny

  • Jesus Christ, this is comedy people.. Wow, BestBuy fan boys, you truly are lame

  • 30 day return policy

15% restocking fee on dig. cameras and cpu's which have a 14 day return policy

everything except itunes cards and opened media is returnable due to limitations placed on best buy by the federal government and apple inc.

  • you're aware that none of the numbers you gave were correct, right?

30 days or 14 days for digital camera, computers

15% restocking fee for opened cpu or dig camera.

and a lot of those things you mentioned ARE returnable, aka if it has a SKU it is possible to return with the exception of opened media. Federal copywrite laws prohibit the return of opened media expect in the circumstance in which it is exchanged for the same title.

in all, this is a horrible video. not accurate. not funny.

  • yes word

i am customer service at best buy

  • plz continue making more of these bc these are so funny to show to the lifers. im going to show these @ at work.(best buy)

  • I love this series!! I work at CCity and it's the same deal alot of the time. Sure it's exarated a little, but who cares. Keep up the good work. I should play this at work sometime. haha
