  • my god this woman does not age! work it out Ms. Payne god bless you!

  • Hey Scherrie you and Frieda are still gorgeous

  • It's only natural that people gravitate to different affiliations and taste but from the conception of the group as "The Primettes" to the Florence Ballard "The Supremes" to the Diana Ross adulterous relationship with Motown mogul Berry Gordy that produced their "Love Child" Rhonnda bringing us "Diana Ross & The Supremes" to the final "The Supremes" all members, Florence, Mary, Diane, Betty, Barbara, Cindy, Jean, Lynda, Scherrie & Susaye are part of the history of this group, THANK YOU!

  • hello and thank you I remember you performing in chicago and you took 5 minutes or so to talk to me and I was hurt because my mom said girls dont play guitar and you told me to keep playing even if it only made me happy. Thanks for the advice I'm still writing and playing, Thank you crossedout1@aol.com Tjj

  • HUM Fine just like her sister Freda. I guess hottness must run though the fam lol

  • Next to the great Diana Ross, Scherrie and Lynda have the best Supreme voices. I saw the Return To Love tour and absolutely loved it. That "other" girl was certainly not missed! Thank you for the magic Scherrie. We love you.

  • she is STILL a sexy woman...!!!!!

  • For Kurtsupreme below. When you get up and sing. And when you are part of a group that takes the world by storm, then maybe you will have room to talk. Who cares if you don't approve. All the ladies associated with this group are remarkable.

  • Scherrie Payne fired up The Supremes again in the mid-70's. She has a dynamic voice, very powerful & a magnetic presence. I think the last 3 albums that The Supremes did with her rock! She brought energy & zest back into the group after a long lull. The music was great. I love those 3 albums. Scherrie was a big plus for The Supremes, re-energizing the group when they needed it. The songs they did should have been big hits.

  • I never considered Sherrie, Lynda, or Susaye to be bonified Supremes. The group was past peak when these ladies were involved. The farher away from the origianl lineup (Flo, Mary, and Diane), the less interest I have in the substitute "Suremes." If I ever see Lynda Lwrence or Sherrie Payne in public, I will most certainly tell them how appalled I was by their participation in Diane's "Return To Love" Tour. It was a complete travesty and their participation added to the sham!

  • @kurtsupreme Thank you and AMEN!!!!!! The Supremes ended after Cindy left the first time. Lynda added nothing and Scherrie just didn't fit in (as far as I am concerned). The best line ups: Diane, Mary, and Flo, and then Jean, Mary, and Cindy. The only thing good about latter versions of the Supremes is that Mary finally step up to the plate and took more leads. She is the Quintessential Supreme, and without her there can be no true Supremes reunion!

  • @proverbs1824 she had her chance in 2000 and was so insanely jealous she stuffed it up for her and cindy! but of course haters know that but choose not to acknowledge it. and how many of the songs mary sang lead on became number one on the pop billboard chart? just saying. why can't we just love them all. they have given most of us such fantastic memories...all the different line ups had their devoted fans.

  • Scherrie looking forward to your solo cd and it sounds like a winner!

  • i never really considered her to be a real supreme, the glory years were well over by the time she was in the picture. however she is talented and does have a good voice. she looks a little bit like jean terrell now she's older!

  • Good for you Scherrie!!! I thought you needed to do your own thing.Let's face it Mary and Diana are the Supremes everyone will always remember.God Bless You!!!

  • scherrie is awesome. she has done so much to carry the real flame of the supremes legacy. much love. many blessings.

  • I have always enjoyed Scherrie Payne's voice and thought of her as Ms. Dynamite. Her earlier songs before she joined the supremes were nice. I heard her sing Crumbs off the Table and The Honey Cone's VIP. Great singer.

  • Scherrie, I can not wait for your cd to come out. Will there be a tour to promote the cd? I am so glad that you are having Joyce to fill in for the group what a perfect choice she is a wonderful singer and a good person, and also glad that you are have Joyce and Pam to help you with this new cd. Please do a tour and have Joyce and Pam tour with you, Scherrie you are the bomb.

  • Hey Scherrie,

I am so glad you are making a solo cd, I so glad that you are having Joyce and Pam Vincent helping you with this cd, Would you consider having Joyce doing some leads with you on this cd I loved her voice I got the Tony Orlando & Dawn A Christmas Reunion cd that came out last year and Joyce's leads are awesome and her solo Ave Maria and when she and Tony sing Savior's Day and other leads she did on the cd, I think you two together on a cd will be a huge hit

  • very wonderful video from a woman who got where she is because of sheer talent. She is grateful for everything as opposed to margie wilson who got where she is because of being at the right place at the right time and not because of her talent. yet margie is bitter and angry and not a bit of gratitude.

  • Who is Margie Wilson? Or are you just trying to be "funny"? That was very nice clip of Scherrie...I am looking forward to her Jazz CD,will definately purchase it...

  • Margie should hv been a Vandella rather than a Supreme. She is more vandella than supreme.

  • Scherrie's years with Mary and Cindy, especially, were a renaissance for the Supremes. Scherris is one of the most underrated singers in popular music. Great voice--range, pitch, dynamism. She should have been a huge star.

  • nice video

  • Thank you Scherrie, you're the best!!!

P.s thanks Jims, big hugs always, Gene
