Il devrait assumer son accent québecois. Il est beau et brillant, alors qu'est-ce que ça fait qu'il ait un accent? Pour le film, ok, mais pour un interview? Les britanniques qui parlent avec l'accent américain pour leurs films gardent leur accent en interview. Même principe.

I'm just starting to learn French. The very first thing I'm noticing in this interview is how Marc-Andre's accent sounds a little different from the French I've been listening to. Almost like when I speak Spanish, lacking the native Mexican accent. I wonder if that's what all the French comments that are on here are referring to.

In fact Marc-André comes from Québec/Canada so is real accent is from a quebecer's french. And now in that interview he change is french to speak like the french from France cause the french find it hard to understand quebecer's french, and it is really a different sound and it's not is native sound. It is not natural for him. It is like a maybe someone from USA who speaks in interview in UK with the UK accent... Some people think that he is not proud to keep is accent...

and some people think that he should not change is accent for them. Because it happens a lot that french people from France laugh at the Quebecer's accent. (it's not all of them but a lot) And because they don't change their accent for quebecer when they come to Québec. It is an old argument between both...

I think he is very reactive, very sensitive so very quickly he'll react to others and their judgements of him, their gestures they make or wont make. so he someone whose bright, intelligent, who observes very much but who stays someone very emotionally unstable so he can take wrong decisions.

I think you have to be crazy to refuse a role. There arent always roles that are so difficult and complexe and one must jump on the occaison.

The real Frederic Bourdin is enormous and you cant adapt it the same in cinema, one must find a carature who is inspired by bourdin, like bourdin but not being bourdin sincerely, one must respect who he is, by using the book and not do too little......

Bon film, je viens de le voir! Pour l`accent français je l`aime bien, mais sur tout ci il parlait en québécois je n`arrive pas a lui comprendre. Je veux dire ci il parle comme ca c`est aussi un respect pour le monde entrier qui parle le francais, car ca c`est la longue officiel quoi.
