  • It was bad were there.thankx to great people of Japan wwho helped us and we are safely back in India. God bless thank you Japan.always there in our hearts

  • why are you living there?.....for how long

  • I would like to say thank you Japan because two days after earthquake the Japanese government did donate to one hospital in Croatia, were I live, 30 000$?

Croats did help in this disaster in Japan but also Japan did help us, and I think that was very kind of them.

  • I feel extremely sorry for Japan. I feel like this whenever there's a fucking asian tragedy such as South Korea being attacked by North Korea and South Vietnam being invaded by North Vietnam and turned into a communist in 1975. I can't even stand watching asians die in movies and videogames. Isn't that ludicrous?

  • Can somebody clear this myth please? Some people are saying that japan is sinking into the japan trench is this true? It kind of has me skeptical. I really hope its not true.

  • i have to rock on

  • So far I've MADE my family donate over $400... My goal is to donate over $700! I encourage anyone that even has the possibility to donate to do so without hesitation!

  • First thing i did was hit the redcross website to donate money.Wish i could do more but i live in another country.I'd like to send my wishes for a better tomarrow for the people in japan that lost loved ones.I'll be happy to see them fully recover from this.

  • Who in the WORLD would give this a thumbs down? Unlike gov't where we have no choice about foreign aid, charity is 100% voluntary. Shame on the cretins who made negative comments. There but for the grace of God --go you.

  • THANKS FOR AD FOR DONATING

  • Hang on Japan!!!!!! しっかりつかみなさい!!!!!!!頑張ろう!

  • I donated my last commission, but donating doesn't feel like doing much. Maybe that's just me, i need to take action, but that's just my personalty . Glad to see all the J-bloggers are fine. Keep strong Japan!!

  • We are all concern for Japan, multiple disaster I never saw that...it`s so sad, please be safe I know the radiation leak is very high so keep safe and please keep posting cause we admire you and now even more!!!

  • I started a Box going around my school asking for anyones spare change! most people were willing to give!(probably because I am Japanese ;) and by the end of two full days I collected over $118! Spare change can do alot of good! Try it out! grab a box and SUPPORT JAPAN! :)

  • My Brothers wife is from Japan and I just found out her parents house was destroyed but, they and her brother are ok ....for now ..Im very worried about the nuclear plants

  • donated 100 swedish kronor to the redcross maybe not that much but im a student so i did what i could. :( so i hope it will do something. :(

    Japan ♥

  • What is happening there?

Is there really a radiation danger or just media blowing things out of proportion for publicity?

How close are you to that NPP?

  • Here in the United States you can donate $10 to the Red Cross by texting REDCROSS to 90999.

    Ganbatte, Nihon!

  • I am currently in japan...i lived in miyako - i say lived because im now staying in iwaizumi...i cannot access my apartment due to damage to the street, many cars and a house blocks the route - my car trashed with my belongings inside (i was moving out friday). Many of my students are still missing, 1 of my schools gone...please please keep sending help...im with other teachers trying to ride it out

My heart goes out to you all, and I promise to help by every means to which I am able. You are always in my prayers, please never forget that.

  • Aside from giving donation, I want to give the victims/survivors some hugs....

  • This Man and his Channel IS NOT A SCam!! the person who said that I wish I could find you,,Id Take care of you buddy! As for this man doing what he is doing what ever he tells you is true. • Thank god your ok. I donated 150$ to the Red Cross

  • hai

thanks for putting up the link . do you know any other charity who accept amex.

i cannot use visa and master card.

  • I am truly ashamed of the people who post hateful comments in the wake of a natural disaster. Try to think for a moment if this had happened to you, your family, or someone you cared about, and what it would feel like to read really hateful comments. This truly shows ignorance on their part. Let's try to show some compassion and respect.

  • I'm actually planning on making t-shirts to sell to help Japan. The money made will go to red cross and other organizations (?) that can help.

  • Hell, I came here to make sure this dude was alright! *siiiiiiiiiigggggghhhhhh* of relief! Thanks God.

  • I have a few Japanese friends, I was glad to hear Tomoko was okay, I'm hoping to hear back from Emi.

I want to give some money, but I'm broke right now. I will give some as soon as I can.

  • The salvation army and the red cross are both great charities! Some other charity organizations that are in Japan right now helping are Convoy of Help, Doctors without Borders, Global Giving, and International Medical Corp. Spread the word!

  • TheJapanChannelDcom, Just to let you know.. that link COULD be a scam..

  • I chose an alternative: globalgiving org simply because you can use Paypal as a payment method, and they seem also to be a fundraiser with a good reputation

  • Im a little late but I just donated. Im glad you guys are safe.

  • im brazilian and i donated trought this site and it worked out fine :)

man im sucha pitty of japanese, they didnt deserve sucha disaster.

  • People in Little Tokyo came together today to collect funds to help Japan during this natural disaster. I donated, and it was nice to see soo many people concerned for the likely hood of a country halfway across the world. If you feel the same, you should do something about it. Good vids by the way to keep the public in the know of what is going on, and trying to get help to others. 5 stars for sure!

  • Heard the volcano is erupting over there, not seeing much on it, do you know anything??

  • Thank you very much, sir. Also, I really appreciate the U.S government sent air carriers to Japan!

  • I am hoping in the next few days big and small churches regardless of denomination will step up and give and give. Like he said in this video research first, who to give you want the majority of the money to go to our brothers and sisters in Japan. We wont stop praying or sending relief.

  • I donated 500 swedish kronor (approx $75). It will give people 16 water carriers for drinkable water. 14 mosquito-nets to stop insects. 5 hygiene-packs that will last for 5 months. 1 roof over a family!

  • What do I put in the blank space"specific use"?

Will -Japan erhquake/tsunami 2011/3/11- do the job?

Please let me know.I want to be sure that the money will go to the right place.

I hope there won't be anymore victims

  • i think that is a good idea to help

  • Its really upsetting to see a country hit by natural disaster. Its disturbing to see people being swept up by the Tsunami. It reminds me of the Haiti tsunami.I was due to visit Japan sometime this year infact it was this month i was supposed to visit, but didnt have the funds. I am heartbroken to see people i adore for their sense of pride and culture, to be have their livelyhood ruined by such an event. I will definatly be donating and doing all i can to help, even though i am in the UK.

  • @rctsos

That's good then you've donated more for those who are unemployed and can not donate as much. ^_^

The moral of my post was to show that very little can be a tremendous help in large numbers. I feel that 500,000 people are more open to give $22 as opposed to $100. If you can give $100 all the more power to you. 500,000 x 22 = $11 million and 500,000 x $110 = $55 million dollars.

We're not Bill Gates, but in large numbers we can accomplish a great deal. That is all I am saying...

  • We all pray or you in Japan.

It must be terribel - what is the best we can do?

    Blessings from Denmark

  • i am sure that every major government will be sending aid and assisting in the rebuilding of those areas destroyed

the world's economy depends on a strong japan

the japanese are a very strong and resolute people...they will rebuild

let us just pray that the nuke energy sites dont implode

  • Beware of Scammers. I have heard Scammers created false donation sites aimed towards aid for Japan but actually just reaping the profit off caring people who are donating. Make sure your donating to legit organizations.

  • @BlazinRedxDragon

    Exactly.

  • @rctsos

It's not a fucking race. I think all of us thank you for your donate. BUT IT'S NOT A RACE

  • What a terrible thing. I hope the Japanese can make a fast recovery. :(

  • I used paypal to make a donation, i found it to be the easiest way and it only takes couple minutes. Dont forget guys - one day you can be in their shoes!!!

Good luck Japan getting on your feet. We are with you.

    Best wishes from Lithuania.

  • I dont have a job either and never have (Im in highschool) but Im gonna donate as much as I because I LOVE Japan and I hate to see people suffering due to this unfortunate tragedy.

  • Just donated €20 to aid the people of ishinomaki, it's all so sad.

  • Holy crap @thejapanchanneldcom got over 800000 veiws

  • I dont suggest salvation army. They are anti gay.

  • @Thevideoclown This is about the people of Japan not your social boycott

  • @ThreeCatsScratching People can donate their money however they like, its the actual donating that is important, though I do agree I'd rather donate to the red cross than the salvation army.

  • Don't send prayers, just send money.

  • Awesome! The other video of the earthquake you took in your home has nearly a million views!!

  • PLEASE KEEP US UPDATED

  • Seeing as i do not posess any kind of credit/debit card/ i am unable to give money over the internet.

I'll be looking for donation boxes in my local area.

  • Looking forward to donate. One business in hawaii is even giving away free T shirts with every donation. And restaurants are holding special dinners where the take for the evening is being donated. Great to see people and businesses helping in anyway they can.

  • @iaimfa Wow! If you don't want to donate then don't donate, but seriously keep your bad comments to yourself then. People have died and that wasn't a good thing to post.

  • @kitlanholster He is just a Troll

  • laimfa is just a troll

  • @iaimfa stfu

  • @iaimfa You can go fuck yourself. Asshole.

  • Hope everyones ok

  • I feel for you mat, first the flood in queesnland with your family and now the tsunami.

  • Pray, donation whatever anything from your thought and will are going to help us. Thank you very much earth people from Japan!

  • My heart goes out to Japan and everyone who has been devestated by this tragedy. Thank you for sharing how we can help!

  • sad but they shall survive.... their tough yet polite people and this isnt their first national emergancy.

    sad sad news :(

  • I hope Japan and every other part of the world that has been hit by the tsunami recovers quickly from this awful tragedy. Much love from the U.S. <3

  • Very honorable of you to do this for the people of Japan.

  • I want to come to Japan and help clean up ect.. but I guess they got plenty of people already that are more qualified.

  • I would donate but what about every year 2 million dying children from malaria? 100+ million starwing children in africa? 2-3 million homeless children in russia? millions of child bribes? millions of children with HIV/AIDS, cancer?

what about my painful sick teeths? my salary is not enough to treat them..

  • 気をつけてね!

  • 12 people are heartless fags

  • @csnoopy the word "fag" is really not necessary... unless you're British and talking about cigarettes xD

  • @csnoopy i like how you put heartless and fag in the same thing. you know, cause it's hypocritical.

  • @csnoopy you stupid scumbag how dare you compare being gay with being heartless

  • @csnoopy Sir I take offense to your use of the word "fag". Im sure lots of Japanese "fags" died in the flooding as well as strait people.

  • @csnoopy why this fag term?? there are gays in japan too, they propably are not so happy about this

  • It has been on the news here as well in the USA 24hrs a day and rightfully so as it should be. Americans hearts go out to you and the people of Japan whom we consider close friends and allies at his time of need. I'm sure that many of us here feel that we will do what ever it takes to bring you all out of the shadows of this tragic event. God be with you all.

  • Is red cross a good place? How much do they actually give of what you donate.

  • Thanks for sharing the links. I'm spreading them onwards.

    日本、がんばれ!!

  • words dont help!

  • who the f***k disliked this??!!!!!

  • @SBGhenjin Chinese and Korean

  • @GodBlessYou2008 why would they hate this??!!!

  • Blood suckers! collecting donation money and keeping 'some' in pocket?? you think couple million dollars out of poor people's pocket is gonna help anything on a disaster of this scale???

Suck us, not our pockets but elsewhere on our anatomy.

  • i really can't understand why there are people who dislike even a aid request because a disaster

  • 日本、がんばれ

    東北地方、がんばれ

  • STRATFOR Geopolitical intelligence has reported that a meltdown is 100% guaranteed the only thing that can stop damage is if the containment vessels hold, however the claim the white smoke was burning concrete which indicated they haven't. The radiation would hit as far as Canada and The US in damaging amount with the amount of fuel in the reactors all of Japan will be consumed in extremely lethal radiation clouds. Hopefully the containment walls will hold, keep safe friend.

  • Für alle deutschen Zuschauer, auf der Seite des Deutschen Roten Kreuzes gibt es eine Spendenadresse! Helft mit!

  • Is there no way to send money through PayPal? I wish to send them what I've got in that account, but I have no cash in my regular VISA so I can't use the Australian Red Cross donation form it seems :-(

  • It's a heartbreaking tragedy and I did nothing else yesterday than watch news about it and I was getting pretty emotional about it.

Donating is a good idea definitely as the state of Japan looks to be set to borrow more money on top of their old loans.

But as there is nothing so bad that there would not be anything good, there are predictions that the Japanese economy will actually heal after this crisis. I believe it will heal and Japan comes out of this stronger than ever.

  • If u don't have the means to participate in donations or charities..ok but a disaster like this...its really a character flaw of major proportions to belittle a country or show hatred in any kind..respect the families who have lost everything and everyone..foreign or domestic

  • The coast of west America got hit as well..lets not dwell on hatred or racial difference now..the big picture is earth as a whole and mankind...

  • I think support via money or supplies or even organizing a support of some sort is great..but to all those ppl who find a need to leave negative comments during a time like this is hateful and inhumane..ppl have lost lives and not only in Japan...

  • I couldn't give much, but I hope it will help a little. :) I would love to start a bottled water/ food drive at my school.... thanks for the idea, kenshinguy15!

  • i wacthed comments the whole video

  • There is a water drive in a nearby school. Maybe there are some in schools in your area... I'm emptying the shelves of bottled water

  • @kickadams8908ass so if ppl dont help u u dont help nice.... thats why earth is such a bad place

  • @kickadams8908ass I'm not American, and even I know what you said is not true. Just check wikipedia "International Response to Hurricane Katrina". I bet you'll discover the US were helped by countries you didn't even know existed!

  • @kickadams8908ass

who are you to judge other cultures ?

do you spend as much energy stopping cow or pig slaughter aswell ?

you honestly think inocent people , perhaps small children in japan deservs to die because a minority of japan eat whale meat ?

well if it makes you feel good or like a big person then go on wishing fellow humans misery.....

  • @monkiemike I am more concerned with people eating Cows! fuck the whale, who cares if Japs eat whale. People who point out to eating whale don't realize everything else other than whale meat, they are using other products of whale. Why dont' you stop eating cows! One day these same assholes gonna start a movement saying "we need to stop cows eating green grass! Save our green earth" fucking retards

  • when i watched this earlier it said view 2004, Thailand tsunami

  • Come on . If every one of us subscribers sent just $10 , that would be almost a quarter of a million dollars in aid . So lets do our part and donate what we can , no amount is too small . Let the people know we care.

  • i don't know what would be more respectful; liking this video, or disliking it.

anyway. whats the difference between the redcross and the salvation army?

which should i donate too? do they do anything different?

  • Let us try to acknowledge and remember those who will not be returning...

  • Macedonia is with Japan.

  • I pray that Japan and it's people will get through this terrible tragedy, and without further disasters. The country and it's people have already been through so much. God bless the Japanese. I will be donating as well. Take care.

  • I just donated 10$ via Paypal Donations (just google "Paypal donate Japan"). I wanted to donate more, but I have money problems, too, high taxes, gas prices, I can loose my job every day. Japan is a land of my dreams, sometimes I dream to live there, but at least I want to travel there someday. So I cant just stand and watch, I want to help.

I hope my little help will reach them. AND PEOPLE, if we all donate at least 10$, it will be a big help, lets make a big help together! TOGETHER WE CAN!

  • Comment removed

  • I don't have moneys...

  • What can you tell about the Mercy Corps - mercycorps [dot] org [slash] donate [slash] japan ?

  • #prayforjapan - I've donated to the Red Cross/Crescent

  • Glad to see you ok. I've donated to Red Cross

  • @TheZamacueca

I think the world has given alot of resources and money to Haiti , but it might not have been enough.

But at least it helped a little? one thing you stupid person should know is that , Japan helped Haiti alot

both with resources and money. Maybe you should go to Sendai or Fukushima to help them now?

  • @monkiemike I NO NO NO !! ASK THE EVIL POPE FOR HELP! SATAN MAY HELP

  • now this channel becomes one of the greatest everrr on YT

  • I am unemployed and can't send as much as I'd like but $15 Canadian Dollars was sent your way. Thank you TJC. And all subscribers who donate as well!

  • I really feel for the wonderful people of japan. Hopefully my friends over there are safe.

  • I'd wait before donating money. Many charities unfortunately use these world disasters to make money and don't guarantee that your donation will 100% go to those who you want it to go to. I'm sure there is plenty of money from the gov't and residents of japan right now. With these tragedies it's the long term help that is most needed. Remember Thailand tsunami? China earthquake? People were shocked and helped initially, but have since forgotten about. I feel bad for all involved.

  • For all of you bashing the Salvation Army, I offer this perspective. My grandfather was a sniper in the Korean War. He told my family about the salvation army crews crawling on their bellies to bring sandwiches and drinks to soldiers on the front lines. They risked life and limb along side the soldiers. The Red Cross workers...they stayed safely behind conflict lines and CHARGED soldiers for extra meals. The Salvation Army maybe quasi-religious, but they don't push it on you when they are offer

  • @violett407 My point exactly. And if those who critisize were in the same situation, would they say, "Sorry, I can't accept your help because I don't agree with your religious polices!"? NO,THEY WOULDN'T!! So, all you Salvation Army beaters, stop being hypocrites. They've always helped me out and I think they are amazing And when the people were stuck in London Airports in the ash, who were there - THEY WERE! And probably 7/7, too! I didn't see any other charities there on these occasions!

  • most of what you donate to these big disaster relief organisations ends in the pockets of a few rich profiteers, in the bureaucratic machinery, or it is plainly wasted due to inefficiencies and carelessness. some of these organisations (e.g. the salvation army) have also very questionable religious agendas. don't donate a penny, these people live on the emotional response of well meaning people to calamities.

  • Being unemployed I can't donate as mush as I wanted to

  • @ThreeCatsScratching

So send this video to all the people you know who have jobs!

    That will help!

    :-)

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom Already Facebooked it

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom or send this video to the killed whales ... and their killed ...

  • @TheJapanChannelDcom

Good on ya my friend, be safe, our hearts are with you all

  • @ThreeCatsScratching

Your job is to donate now! :D

  • @ThreeCatsScratching

This has 14,143 views, if everyone donated $22 that would be $311,146.

I've already donated my $22, have you? ^_^

  • @Keaos0 NO I am unemployed, don't have the money.

  • @ThreeCatsScratching

sorry, wasn't intentionally directed towards you.

  • @Keaos0 yes to the redcross

  • Was Yokohama affected??

  • @ThreeCatsScratching A bit yes but not a lot.

  • do you know of any volunteer programs?

  • stay safe from the Philippines.......

  • I will pray for you all in Japan <3

  • Please do not donate to the Salvation Army.

They are anti-gay, and have refused support to same homosexuals in the past, and have even threatened to cut ALL support in NYC because they would have to support gay couples too. There are far better charities out there.

  • @dkamm65 How dare you!! I've been a member of the Salvation Army my whole life. I am not and never have been anti-gay!! Some of my best friends are gay. So get your facts straight before mouthing off!! To everyone else, the salvation army are your best bet for donations - not big charities who never give it where it belongs.

  • @WABBITS8 lol YOU should get your facts straight. What I said is true, look it up yourself if you don't believe me.

  • the least place i would expect to get a natural disaster this immense is japan. all of those innocent people didnt deserve to get this disaster they work so hard 24.7 smh i was planning on going to japan this summer as a graduation present but i guess we have to focus on helping everyone out there :( .my heart goes out to all of them .

  • question(no offence intended): why help japan? they are the third richest country in the world.

  • People in United Kingdom can donate as well! by red cross!

  • Thank you so much. Japan will need all the help they can get. However we mustn't forget those in Australia, China, New Zealand, and Haiti- even a year after they still have no homes. The world must help one another as we are all on this planet together.

  • what are main japan based organisations tackling with crisis (like aar japan, peace-winds)?

  • Thank you for the upload !

    Everyone must be safe.

  • Canadians can donate VIA the Red Cross as well.

  • my heart is with the japanese pepole, a tear is shed for whats lost, and a smile is kept for those still living. glad your ok, please keep us updated.

  • I have 150 (US) dollars that I was going to use for my first car, but it's going to ShelterBox and The Red Cross instead.

  • Does anyone happen to know if the tsunami reached the town of Ibaraki ?

    .

  • my heart and prayers go out to the people of Japan.

  • A day of tears for Japan!! I am crying out to God in prayer for Japan and all countries affected. Japan is in my heart!

  • Day of tears for Japan! I love YOU, Japan. I will pray for you!

  • I only have one thing to say to japan .|.

bunch of mfuckers that only see money in them lifes, ....pollution? who cares.

Go fuck your selfs in the ass....

    They have what they deserve.
