  • Excellent!

  • 3:04 dude that hurts hahaha

  • my friend you are an inspiration id rather take functional strength and athleticism over big bulky uselessness anyway. One quesion, have you ever done any weight training? or just pure bodyweight excercises, many say weights are essential to gain mass and strength but i like to believe all you need is your body weight and the right techniques, please respond

  • excellent

  • fag pro tip for you,no one like auto play to next vid shit

  • maximum respect bro

  • You should post more bids...good job bro

  • 3:04 HAHAHAHHAHA... but u doing it really nice dude well done, keep training!

  • u r doin great man. this will motivate me..

  • Okay thank you. So if I could do pull ups proficiently then I shouldn't do those? Or is it still beneficial?

  • @Rizilki It's always good to change things up a bit, and the reverse pushup works those muscles from a different angle. Definitely try it. Even if it doesn't become part of your regular routine, you can use it to break through plateaus or vary a stale workout.

  • How much do those upside down push up things work you? And what muscles?

  • @Rizilki Upper back and secondarily biceps. Its a good exercise, particularly if you find full on pull ups too challenging.

  • Wow thats tuff!"...Excellent strength and achievement~!..

  • is it even possible for a white guy to get a body like that? Perfect symmetry, great defined musculature, wide back and flaring shoulders with a thin and cut waist. And of course he maintains perfect functionality and true strength. I've never seen a white guy like this, but black guys achieve it so easily. Not... fair...

  • @ghostsam24 I'm black and I don't know what you mean. I watch alot of gymnastics because it has been my love but it appears to me those white gymnast are just as cut. Shit they are my inspiration when I see them get on those rings.

  • @ghostsam24 this is so true i see it all the time in the gym

  • My gym doesn't have gymnastic rings =/

  • witch track do u listening man ??!!O.O

  • nasty on the rings my man

  • His two muscle ups in the beginning from a seated position were most impressive, the remainder was good (now, this is coming from someone who has see a lot of gymnastics work done by veteran gymnasts). If he kept his lines straighter this demo would have been a lot more impressive. Overall great work, just work on keeping that "hollow" position and you'd be good. Again, impressive MU's from the seated position. You could've stope filming there and been good in my book!

  • I've always like to use my body weight to work out where can I buy gymnist work out rings

  • really impressive. alot harder than it looks too

  • The muscle ups in the beginning were pretty good. Everything else is pretty easy to do if you are light.

  • Sid what is the pushup routine you do called? awesome job dude

  • That was totally impressive.

  • there is no such thing as 'toning'. it is not a word associated with exercise science or fitness world. don't believe what the media and pseudo exercise world tells you. what you probably mean by 'toning' is muscular endurance. stop using that word.

  • sweet camo tapout shorts brah. you hittin up jiu jitsu class later broski?

    but seriously good vid

  • Perfect physique

  • which nysc is this and are the rings available to everyone or trainers only? thx

  • thats a lot better than i could do haha

  • how do muscle ups on a ring compare to a bar?

  • @hellothereimasian a bar isnt using stabilizers ...small intricate muscles that gymnist use and have more of an aquired muscle a harder look and more useful muscle but not as bulkee as what u would get from just regular bar and wieghts

  • @hellothereimasian well, ring dips is different from regular dips because you use your own muscles to stabilize yourself. a regular dip is stable, the only action you need to do is pushing yourself up. the same can be said when you push yourself up during a muscle up for both rings and bars.

  • @OrlyDudeGuy alright awesome thanks, im thinking about getting some still rings myself.

  • nice exercices, but steroids??

  • @qwerrik I think he did not..

  • Strong, but to say its "Your Style" is a bit out there, every move your doing already has a name for a reason. Do you do MA or you just wear Tapout?

  • Awsome video buddy, I just got some rings for myself and I've been using them at the gym. One of the best pieces of equipment I've ever trained on! Keep up the hard work!

  • Plenty of meat there :D

  • LOL, at 3:04 he hits his head.

  • Comment removed

  • Echt spitze, Super Körper!

  • he is cute

  • nice stuff!!

  • Muscle ups are the shit!

  • Who needs the rings to be in shape? Here's another frustrate guy who didn't make the cut in gymnastics.

  • @terrerov Yeah, his training really seems like he gives a mad fuck about olympic gymnastics. I think he cares more about being in shape, and women, you daft twat

  • @terrerov You're just a fat guy at home wishing he could do this. Pwned.

  • Great work!!

    Thumbs up!

  • Makes no sense for a human to be this strong. Nice man. Real nice!

  • @lociz1 gayest youtube comment ever. LOL

  • thats awesone bro. i look forward to trying it

  • Amazing power. I tried to do this once and almost fainted and I excercise regularly. Nice vid man.

  • ur abs are fucked up, you should cover them up. I almost puked

  • how do i get as ripped as u?

  • @RhadeConstantine are you black?

  • @mdol88 whats that got to do with anything? and no im not.

  • @RhadeConstantine he just showed you. :p

  • @acebrawler73 I was hoping there would be an easier way lol

  • come on this not ring strength, theres like 10yr olds at my gym that do this, our ring strength workouts are at least 30min long... not sayin this is easy but not very impressive

  • @jingelbells why dont you post a video then DINGLE BALLS

  • @jingelbells remember he isnt a gymnast

for a person who isnt a gymnast, its tough.

  • try using a swiss ball for the pushups.

  • Are muscle ups harder to do on bars than rings?

  • @762full WAY HARDER ON RINGS. I can do 12-15 on a bar on a strong day, but on the rings one to two is a great feat of strength.

The individuals most fit for most of the rings exercises are smaller fireplug guys like this individual. Of course the more mass in your legs the weirder this will be too... lots of factors

  • @762full They're a completely different technique... A strict bar muscle-up with a false grip is harder than a strict muscle up on rings with a false grip, but trying to do a muscle-up on rings without a false grip, and without leaning forward is a godly skill. It depends what you learn first, and what you find easiest to do.

  • @pshieldsy Since muscle require so much momentum flexibility and technique, are they really effective for someone wanting to emphasize strength or endurance?

  • @762full As I said before, you can do a strict muscle-up, meaning no momentum is used. Yes, muscle-ups can be used for great strength development, by minimizing false grip and leaning forward at the top position. For muscular endurance, you can use momentum, and go for as many reps as you can. In terms of strength, take a look at a video of Andreas Aguilar at the 1991 World Pro Gymnastics.

  • what kind of rings ? extreme exf elite ?

would you guys recommend no brand rings ?

  • i liked the muscle up from a dead stop on the ground. kicks out all the sway and makes it very strict. dont listen to all those other cockheads that talk about kipping it because shown here you have pure strength and didnt do that kipping shit to muscle up. KIPPING IS CHEATING PEOPLE! kipping is not a "NEW" exercise. it is a way of making pullups easier by swinging your body. crossfit just uses it to get more reps so they can go for the longer timed sessions workouts.

  • @MrRanger1987 if you knew anything about CrossFit (which you obviously don't) you would know they the point isn't to "go longer" for the time its to do everything as fast as possible, thus giving you and endurance workout, so yes they aren't strict form pull ups, i know, but i would appreciate if you didn't make false accusations about CrossFit. ask any CrissFitter and you will have them all tell you it's the best workout program they have ever done

  • @soccerplaya7855 Crossfit is pretty awesome. I've been doing it for about a week now and I love it, however, every workout has its limits, therefore, after maybe two months, it will be time to move on to the next workout phase.

  • jajaja i crap myself up you are just a big guy who doesn't have any idea of how to use gymnastic rings and by the way at minute 0:57 is clear to see that you can't hold your own weight...why am i so sure?? because i been doing gymnastics for the last 8 years :).......you are big, but not that strong (my favorite part was when you go upside down hitting your head) another example why you don't have any idea of how to use this rings

  • @MigueLedN22 go fucc yaself. . . i dont see YOU on YOUtube. I give props to the big guy, do ya thing.

  • Jesus man, what is ur body fat %?

do U ever drink alcohol or eat anything bad.

I can't see anybody looking like this without a rediculous diet.

    Anway great job!

  • hmm for some reason sorry if this is negative but it looks like you were struggling at the start but your body looks perfectly capable of doing that easy

  • nice. but try some ice cream makers. lol you will die

  • holy shit jus look at the guys chest!

  • Nice job brother - you need to put a soundtrack down to that tho...

  • Great video and workout! Just got a set of rings-ready to get going!

  • thats great I can not do that but I will probaly be able to do it when i grow up

  • Ouch.. hurt my head, too.

  • I could stop laughing at the part where he goes upside down. He kept hitting his head, lol. If it was me, i would have lost my grip and fallen on my face. :(

  • nerd

  • whats the thing on his left wrist?

  • @prickett233 MP3 player? :P

  • This is TRX minus the shirt

  • You could work all the same muscles using machines (yeah, if you are a girl) or free weights, but the rings really hit the CNS (Central Nervous System) stimulating the muscles better (or at the very least differently).

  • тело нажрал, а когда ноги в уголок вытягивает - весь дрожит, как дохляк. Не позорься выкладывать такие видео,

  • You have just given me a lot of great ideas! thx brother, and as some people are asking, is that a machine specially for gym rings?

  • Damn, that's real strength - strength you can USE, not just show off on a stage. This is why I respect gymnasts so much, they can do this crazy stuff. Not many people can.

  • DUDE! this is my kind of stuff! I love it!!! I am an certified AFAA personal trainer, and i approve. all the haters go home and get educated... better yet, you make a video of yourself working out if you got any corrections to share...

  • great compiliation to inspire adding the ring to the workout. thanks

  • i really like this...if you dont like this guy or what he is doing dont watch. better yet post a video and let others rate you!!!

  • @rocketpenny what he is doing at 2.09? a combo of pushups and bodywieght flys?

  • @rocketpenny what dont you post a video of ur self and we guna rate you?!!!

  • dude what is wrng with your abs?

  • Great vid. I was wondering, is that machine specifically made for gymnastic rings? If so, what brand is that and where would I find one?

  • please turn the rings out. it actually gives u a workout. completely different. when you have the rings turned in it looks gross and its cheating yourself

  • @Brandon1h Let me guess, your physique sucks. Another keyboard warrior. Obviously Sidney doesn't care about competing or doing movements that are competitively correct, he is just using rings to work out, and obviously accomplishing his goals.

  • @hrhadam wow. pretty ignorant thing to say. I've been doing gymnastics for 10 years and lifting weights for about 4. So i think my physic is doing just fine. Its not like i was attacking him or anything. I just said he should turn the rings out. Its how your taught to do it. Plus its easier on your joints. Its like if i saw a video of a guy doing really bad form on squats i would tell him he needs to go deeper etc. I never said this guy isn't ripped

  • @Brandon1h Fair enough. I'll take your diplomatic reply as proof that you aren't full of shit. Its just tiring on youtube to see video after video of guys who are in-shape and generally working out using good form get attacked time after time by a bunch of people who are only experts when behind a laptop.

  • dam dude ive just started training on the ring n u wna do wat u do on them its a rlly intense workout plz reply if u can

  • I really can't think of a better demonstration of strength than when a male gymnast performs on the rings. Incredible

  • Algo your 18 years old, you dont know shit! When I wuz your age I wuz 140lbs benching 260 and thats all natural. Bench press dont mean shit, What can you deadlift, how many pull up can you do? Functional strength my friend. try working out with rings, I think you'll find it very much more challenging!!

  • It's not bad, but he's doing things that are beyond his strength level. You can tell because of the bad form. You can see my channel and I explain and demonstrate a number of gymnastic exercises. I'm 6'2", 227 lbs and I am quite active at gymnasticbodies. If you search for that on youtube you'll find a ton of videos. They are made by one of the coaches for the USA Jr. National team, and the website, which is free, is posted in the description.

Great build, lots of hard work there!

  • @slizzardman Hey I don't mean to be rude and you're a pretty big and in-shape guy, but I'm pretty sure this dude would kick your ass, on and off the rings :)

  • I can do harder stuff, and with proper form. So on the rings, I'm not worried about him at all. Off the rings, who knows? I trained under Manu N'Toh for a year straight, 7 hours a day 7 days a week. Ditched school early and everything. Search for his name and you'll find out he was one of the best Muay Thai fighters around, he had 7 active world title belts at the time. I ended up being his training partner. I'm not worried about real fights with anyone.

  • name dropper... get a grip

  • My name's Joshua. He trained me from the autumn of 1999 through 2000 at Obake's Fight School. Anyone can drop names, so I don't mind your skepticism. Tell you what, I won't even make you visit his site, I'll give you the number for Alliance. (404) 316-1110

Ask for Manu, they'll either tell you when to contact him or leave him a message. Tell him the details and he'll remember me.

I've got no secrets, and neither does he.

  • i like the 1:20 work out

  • I want to have a couple of rings, but need to find a place to hang them. :/

  • ALGO you just don't know what you are talking about.

  • I know what im talking about.

    I'm 210lbs and can bench 300lbs...

    I'm 18 years old.

    nice try ...

  • u faggot go watch wwf

  • where's the point?

bodybuilding, faggot, wwf ? wtf ?

  • Algo this workout will put on muscle and will build strength. It will build a stronger core than barbell related moves. This workout will not give you a bodybuilders physique. It is for overall athletic strength.

  • This workout sucks, any bodybuilder would say that. the fact is that he as great genetics like most of the black guys. you can't usually build muscle like this. You need to lift heavy weight. (i'm half black so don't start the bullshit talking)

  • Whether it sucks or not depends on your goals. A bodybuilder trying to put on mass might think this sucks. Someone trying to develope muscle endurance might not.

  • i think you got it right.

  • @Newton1692

I would like to add that most Body builders also use body weight exersises such as this. This is great for toning and symmetry.

  • @Newton1692 Athleticism, not Endurance. Endurance is just a part of it. The ability to lift your own bodyweight and fully support yourself from the core is an asset. In the real world, bodybuilding- being heavy and slow, just doesn't cut it. It's called survival of the fittest for a reason.

  • @srtliam True, it's good to have a balance of physical strength, power, speed, agility, stamina, and endurance as well as to have a healthy body and good intelligence.

  • @srtliam Could not agree more! I'm 21 years old now. When I started working out I was in 10th grade and I followed a typical bodybuilding routine for about 2 years. Around the end of my high school career, I moved further and further away from the standard bodybuilding routine and gradually started training more and more in the realm of 'functional training'. I will never look back......

  • @srtliam fitness is just being able to meet the demands of your environment... it the environment was more suited for a 'strongman' they would be the survivors...

  • @gangstakurv about what environment are we talking about anyways. Unless you live in some sort of jungle you don't need any physical shape to "survive".

  • @joe80dmanizanerd sorry i mis read your statement anyways, i agree with you, being heavy and slow doesn't help much.

  • @gangstakurv being fast and agile doens't help much either. Seeing 99,9% of us live in an urban environment or whatever, physical performance is more of a hobby.

  • @joe80dmanizanerd ok now you're just wrong... survival is more prone to the healthy, you live much longer if you're fit and have a healthy lifestyle due to higher metabolism which increases immunity and reduces chances of illness and CHD and others... even if you don't need to use your fitness gain the attributes like listed above increase quality of life for much longer...

  • @gangstakurv living healthy is completely different from being fast and agile. Sure, the two can go along but are not neccesarily mutually inclusive. You can live a perfectly healthy life without running, weightlifting or doing gymnastics. As long as you don't smoke, drink excessively and are not eating too much shit (which gets you overweight) - your chances of getting a high age are just as high as for someone who works out alot. Also, metabolism is hardly affected by exercise at all.

  • @gangstakurv Your life expectancy is mostly based on genetics, weight (20% bodyfat is just as "healthy" as 8% bodyfat, perhaps even more), habits (smoking/drinking etc), diet and the amount of stress you endured during your life. Diet correlates alot with weight, but there has been no empirical evidence that someone who eats healthy 100% of the time will outlive the "normal" (not fat) person. I work out alot and have 9.5% bodyfat, but that's because I want to look and feel fit - that's it.

  • yeah this workout wouldnt be great for bodybuilding, but it is good for getting strength to do moves on the rings and thats wat this video is about.

  • @ktan6133 I've been training for 10 years; I realize every person is different, muscle fiber type has a great deal to do with it, etc, but at least for me, I know of no way to get bigger, faster, than by using rings and their nearly infinite progressions.

  • your a fuckin boss bro. great strength, great workout.

  • I am talking about the training corner or what is this?

  • you inspired me ! thanks a lot.. (im doing bwe for more than 4 years)

  • who knows the name of the machine used in this vid

  • @IronKhurt you can buy those rings on the internet...mine are called elite rings but just normal gymnastic rings should work

  • i can do this thing but like 8 times max

  • What machine is that?

  • this is unrealive just started doing it and i havent been this sore after a weights or exercise session in years

  • He makes this look easy, it's not.

  • sorry, sid vicious is dead pal

  • ????

  • sid and nancy, watch the movie

  • who is this? football player?

  • This stuff is good. search for gymnasticbodies in youtube to find more difficult exercises though.

  • good work! . . .i'm pretty proud of my abs as i work hard on them.but yours are absolutely f###ing awesome.what's your secret?

  • your rings should be turned out w/ straight arms. gay!!!!

  • can someone help me and tell me where i can buy a pair of these rings? i dont want to spend too much on them either but i need them desperately

  • ebay

  • @blackpowers234 sup bro im not sure about the ring things but you can buy a pull ups bar its pretty much same thing and cheaper most of those exercises can be done on a pull ups bar and its cheaper mine costs 30 $ cheap

  • i cant believe all the hate comments prob a bunch of armchair experts!

  • thats what i call strength

  • man thats awesome. new exercises for me to do.

  • puedo hacer lo mismo pero en las anillas olimpicas sin apollarme en nada

  • thats a nice machine

  • come on man... point your toes

  • for an adult, non gymnast, great work!

  • Don't forget to show anyone what kind of roids you are using to build up those muscles

  • yeah

  • You guys seems to know alot about it, i really wanna do this, but im afraid im too old..

Ive done alot of different sports and gymnastics, but never the still rings, i do alot of fitness and got a rly ripped body, but am i too old? (your never to old to start) am i too old to get good? i am 18 going on 19 this whinter

  • You are never too old dude!!! Im 39yrs old and i run 5-10 miles every day and can do stuff i did when i was with the RANGERS.. Don't think like that stud, because i know guys who are 50-65 who can hang with the best of them!!! You Tube . David Goggins Trains in the desert..AIRBORNE RANGERS LEAD THE WAY!!!!!!!!

  • thanks man, il go for it

  • you think and talk toooo much

    just do it

  • yeah..

you can definitly tell hes a body builder

because for a gymnast, that would be easy. im one myself and im pretty sure it isnt that complicated.

although i do give him props for at least working out body strength instead of doing what other body builders do.

  • dont think he is a bodybuilder either body builders workout their legs, this guys legs are not strong like his body

  • Yes hes quite strong but no control, hes not a gymnast, it looks like its good strenght training, hes not getting a good body by just doing this!

  • pretty impressive strength... i wish i had THAT machine at my gym!

  • did he hit his head at 3.07 ? haha

  • gotta get me that machine!

  • excellent body man! just great! much better then thsoe bodybuilders , thsi is what i want for myself also.

  • hey man how can i simulate thsi same workout with weights?

i dont have rings and i do pullups but i really want to make sure i develope ring gymnast biceps.

  • So I found out that machine your on is called the Precor Stretch Center Trainer. I cant find a website that has this. Do you know where I could find this ?

  • holy shit man, that dude's upper body is insane

  • Comment removed

  • hmmm.....having a litle trouble?

  • its the nature of the rings that causes his arms to wobble
