The autopsy report did say he fell from a tree and sustained injuries to his chest. As kids we all make stupid choices and this choice sadly cost Brandon his life. He was not "insane".

I blame the parents too because they're the ones who bought him Call of Duty 4 when he was underage.

Did the parents ever consider that their kid is just completely insane? Probably not. The reason being that admitting your child is insane you have to wonder if maybe you're the reason for their illness.
This is a case of stupid people blaming bad things on something they don't understand because they can't accept that maybe their kid was insane- probably because of them- and they should have taken him to a psychiatrist when they had the chance.
