awww ive been doing a lot of looking into people with down syndrome and before i did i always had a fear of them even tho i have had some bullying from a cousin with ds its helped me realize that they have normal capabilities and infact they're funny not because of ignorant jokes but because the joy they bring to people who have a ds person in their lives.

My mother has worked with disabled children for as long as I can remember and most of them with downs syndrome. I had a foster son with downs and it NEVER ceased to amaze me the inner strength these children have. Yes, they are different...but then, so are you and I... we all are! My mother has worked with disabled children for as long as I can remember and most of them with downs syndrome. I had a foster son with downs and it NEVER ceased to amaze me the inner strength these children have. Yes, they are different...but then, so are you and I... we all are! When a person makes remarks and comments like some of the ones I have seen here it proves to me that ignorance and intolerance still hve a heavy grip on humanity.
