My name is Raymond I am from Jacksonville FL. Allen Collins was a dear friend of mine. I promise you he is smiling now on you as you play his solo. I think he was 17 or 19 when he wrote freebird and to here you play it was amazing he would be proud. Keep rocking. FYI when Gary plays that slide he puts a wire with plastic coating at the top of the neck to raise the strings. His roadie Mike Sparks (RIP) used to call it the Gary wire. Try it. He uses a 1962 Gibson SG.
