When I first heard of FGM (about ten years ago) I actually did not believe what I reading. I put down the magazine without a thought. Then a few days later there was another story in a medical journal, and I nearly tossed my lunch.
"It's our culture" is so lame for justifying this practice.
I can't believe the Ethiopean population has doubled since Saint Bob was there 25 years ago. Some famine.
