  • Solid dude. That's a big help. The tension on the biceps thing is a good pointer, definitely keeping that in mind in the gym

  • @NiceAndSmooth247 You shouldnt. curls are one of the biggest waste-of-time movements u can do. and if you dont care about being fit, and only want big biceps, then do them at the preacher curl rack or standing up. don't take the squat racks away from the actual athletes or people who want to better themselves

  • @xSwaggtaculaRx We shoot a bunch of videos in one day. I was do a kickboxing/cross training drill video for ckotrainer and forget to remove the gloves.

  • @msmithstud Hell Yeah! I use the 21 principle on just about all muscle groups.

  • @msmithstud For gaining mass, 10-12 reps are optimal, '21s' are not ideal for purely adding mass.

  • @RoryMacLeodFitness I always heard for mass, it's heaviest weight with 5 or 6 reps. Higher reps and moderate weight are for toning. But you think 21's are more of a finishing exercise?

    From reading Schwarzenegger's guide, he suggested that for power 4-6 reps were best, for strength, 6-8 reps were best, and for hypertrohpy (increasing mass) 8-12 reps were best. '21s' would be considered more of a toning exercise, as far as i understand.

  • @msmithstud I'm not sure there's much of a difference, but I think power relates to the maximum weight one can lift in an explosive movement whereas strength would mean the ability to lift a smaller weight, more times. Hope that makes sense!

  • @RoryMacLeodFitness there is actually no such thing as a "toning exercise" an excersise either stimulatesmuscle growth or it doesnt. and if you want to be "toned" or "ripped" than its just about having low bodyfat

    the muscle is ripped and tonedeither way if its there but its bodyfat over the muscle that makes it look less ripped or toned. just so you know

    high reps are almost a waist over 12 or 15 reps

    21's arnt that good for muscle growth....
