range = priority. the only thing that tops range is invincibility frames. so for example ness dsmash has a large range and can our-pri most things, but kirbys down-b has invincibility frames and can top it.

pikas uair is generrally regarded as a lethal uair from its huge range and combo potential, and it can beat nearly every other aerial
